Probably Mass Effect 2 thus far, however I picked up Civilization IV the day before yesterday on the Steam sale, and given how much I have played it up until now, it may very well take the lead within a week.

Since I don't play games much... I've only clocked about thirty or so hours on Borderlands over about three weeks(I have to use my brother's 360).

But over my life, I've put 62 hours into FF7, 9 months on City of heroes and about three months on WoW.

I don't know why, but I wish I've put more time into games...

Uhm...Dragon Age, probably. Throughout the various campaigns, where I do everything possible in each run, at about 60-70 hours a pop...maybe like...350 hours?

...45 hours or so in Fallout 3. Not very much at all, but I just don't play that much in general.

Either Morrowind or Disgaea 3. Not much has been released this year that I'm interested in(so far that is), so I've been playing my older games most of the time.

rather than this year you mean in the last 12 months right...

In which case the answer would probably be 189 hours on L4D, although I have played literally dozens of games so my play time is spread out.

this year, either MW2 or Empire total war. Over a day for each. Though that sounds a lot I understand in the long run it's really not.

This calendar year the top five are:

Splinter Cell: Conviction 34:18
Castle Crashers 19:53
FIFA 09 18:57
Mass Effect 18:03
Alan Wake 15:39

Yes. I keep a log. And yes, I tend to be OCD about stuff.

Oh. And I've played 48 different games this year for a total of 8 days, 10 hours, and 14 minutes.

I can't really keep track of time invested in a game unless it tells you, but I've got around 115 hours in Saint's row 2 since getting it after switching to the PS3 in november(ish) last year. That's not counting when I just mess about for a while and, having changed and/or gained nothing, don't save.

I don't have a time estimate, but likely TF2. When I dropped WoW in december I had to fall back on something else to occupy all that time.

20+ hours in RDR but after the storyline it got dull. Multiplayer was disappointing.
15 or so hours in Just Cause 2. Again, have kinda stopped since the end of the storyline although it's still fun. Just a pity that the black market is too expensive to just mess around with.
As for my steam games:
201 hours of X3: Terran Conflict. However that does include leaving it on SETA overnight so I have enough money to actually do something the next day. Sadly I lose a lot of assets doing that =[.

it doesn't sound a lot :) I've probably put in about 600 hours gaming in the last 12 months, and that's with an evening class and a 4 hour commute every (working) day.

I really don't keep track. I know it's more, but it feels like I've put a lot of time into expanding my Austrian empire.

Victory is in sight, I just need to conquer the ottomans and keep the russians off my back just long enough...
