It all depends on who you're playing with. Just one douchebag "friend" can ruin a fun, epic game like Risk or Monopoly. As long as everyone has a good attitude, long games can be tons of fun.

However, I'll say Risk is the most annoying because it simply cannot be balanced. Eventually people will start to gang up on someone, and that's about as annoying and frustrating as griefing in video games.

The civil rights board game, you can't win you just do a little better each time.

Other than that The Bioncle board game,it makes no sense to me and is fairly boring.

I really hate the game checkers. I am quite good at chess (especially shot chess) but whenever I try to play checkers my opponant just manages to lure me into a position where he/she can take about 6 of my pieces in one go.

Monopoly is toooooo long and my fiance turns into a meany.
This but I don't have a fiance. Just some very irritable friends with blunt objects.
he likes to rub his winnings in my face like it's real money. I always loose because I'm a sucker and he's ruthless.

normally risk, but when you play with the right people, it can be a blast. I had a one-on-one with a friend of mine, and i held america, he held asia. my little brother had been playing for a bit, but threw a huff when he was losing and stormed out, so we just left his armies in africa as roadblocks, ones we would attack, and the other player would roll for, but couldn't attack themselves. eventually, i pushed through into europe, and mounted a beach-head into ukraine, a massive region that represents eastern europe. i had 3 cannons and 3 infantry there, amounting to 33 units, and adjacent to that, in two different regions, my friend had amassed a force of 40ish units. we began the battle in earnest, but it dragged on for turns. eventually, i was whittled down to only two units, and my friend three. he launched one final weary attack, hoping to destroy my stranglehold on europe before my reinforcements could arrive, but in the end i beat him back to one unit each, meaning no more attacks could be placed. my reinfocrements came, a further 15 units into my forces in the ukraine, and we then ploughed through the remainder of his forces, as he only had one or two units in his other regions. it was the risk equivalent of the battle of the somme, and the most fun i had in a boardgame.

but for me, the most boring boardgame is chess. i could never get into it.

Monopoly.

There's no strategy involved because it's all down to roll and move luck what you actually land on and hence get to buy, there's never any question of whether you do buy what you land on because you start with so much money and accumulate it easily at the start, it's blatantly obvious a third of the way through the game who is going to win, but it takes five hours for them to actually win.

Risk is bad as well. Hold Australia and it's ggkthx, it's easy to hold, you get continent bonus, and build up an unassailable monster force.

RISK, it has been said before but if you are on the losing end of a battle with Europe at stake you suddenly take it VERY personally. Never play this game after you have been drinking or someones gonna bleed :p

I hate Pictionary. It's usually just dick drawings all game long. And if not, nobody really has the drawing skill to make something that isn't completely obvious...I drew the Triforce once. Timer was set to 2 minutes. Nobody got it.
