Well, if we're going by the song that evokes the strongest emotional reaction, then I say "Would You Go With Me" by Josh Turner. I cried the very first time I heard it, and I cry every time I listen to it. Truly beautiful.

I got a few but I'm going to list two of them-
Yeah these two are quite random, one being compose of snippets of dialogue and add some beats and the other has a lyric that make no sense what so ever. However despite the randomness, the beats and the melody are qute mesmerising.
*gasp* For once, I'm not the only one who has seen Paprika! Man, I've missed that soundtrack. As time went by, I forgot about it.

OT:

Favorite Ghibli film, and one of my all time favorite movie soundtracks.

Redemption song, however not Bob Marley's version. I mean the one that Johnny Cash and Joe Strummer did together. Quite the powerful and beautiful duet as well as the best melding of a Reggae classic, with the greatest Country and Punk Rock singers to ever grace the Earth.

EDIT: Its also really bittersweet and beautiful when you consider that this and Silver and Gold were among the last songs Joe ever recorded.

Piece, PIECE! "I before E except after C", haven't you ever been to school?!
Apart from the 923 words where that rule doesn't apply.
OT: Just generally all of Mahler's symphonies are particularly poignant, especially his later works being much more emotionally charged. The Mahler 10 adagio is probably what many would say.

Metal Gear Solid Maintheme
And I can't remember for the love of me what that one epic song was.

It's nice, getting to know some really nice pieces of music here.

I cant think of any other times I've been genuinely moved by techno.
This. Entirely this. I listen and have listened to almost every genre you can imagine and after hearing so many amazing songs so far, I hold Strobe as the most emotional song I have ever heard. Which is pretty damn big of Deadmau5 to do to me seeing as I am a huge Muse, Apocalyptica, Nightwish etc (list cannot be stopped in reasonable length) fan. This is the song I hold as my "best song ever" and will keep it there until someone manages to top it, but I doubt anyone will soon.
