well,I was in a post-apocalyptic wasteland with 3 other friends and and a girl walks up and kisses one guy and explodes. The guy who got kissed starts acting like a tosser and one other guy cuts off his leg so the kissed guy starts flying of to the land of mustard and shit which was the real name and starts flipping us off.then we start walking and one guy commits suicide as the other jumps on to a random horse and makes the horse o the hockey pockey.then I just shoot myself but endup in the same dream except Yahtzee was in the distance making a sandwich

I had a dream where I was walking through every abandoned building I had ever seen, while every image of horror I've ever seen followed me, while I just walked slowly about.

They were screaming for my blood to redeem their earthly ties, and then I woke up drenched in sweat.

I have incredibly profound dreams very occasionally, where reality is a completely different concept. I'm in a place, surrounded by these beings, and I interact with them in some way. The beings and place are so beautiful and peaceful I begin to cry. It really re-writes your views of what is real and the ways existence can work. The dreams completely changed my life and have inspired a lot of my recent work.

Disturbing though... probably the one where I'm blind (I'm seeing myself in the third person though) and there is something chasing me. I can see it in the shadows, glowing white eyes like pinpoints and holding a blade of some kind. It's completely silent however, and it just glides over the floor and slits my throat.

Fucked up shit.

There's another one where there is a disease killing everyone and I'm the only one who knows the cure. I'm desperately trying to call the authorities and find my loved ones but everyone ends up dying except for me. And I'm alone.

me and a few friends were at a train station and just as we are about to enter everyone around us suddenly trys to attack us and we flee into a train
the lights go out and we walked through the train not knowing what was going on
and then we enter a large room somehow fitting in one train car and we learn that a serial killer has lived in this train
it rains and the room floods just as said serial killer walks in and takes a knife to us
i climb a statue that appeared out of nowhere and dropped an electrical aplliance into the water with him and it shocked him but he didnt die
we escape the train and run through a long series of tunnels that lead me into my own house and no matter what we do that killer is always one step ahead of us
i was accending the stairs going toward my room when i woke up

that is pretty much a manifestation of my greatest fear of being trapped and of actual people being more of monsters than anything in sci fi or fantasy
ive never once had a nightmare about a creature its always about people

Lets see... there's that moon one which would take years to explain. There's that zombie one.

Oh. One time I had sex with a clown girl. That was pretty messed up.
That sounds pretty hot.

I had a dream where I spent a day with all of my friends, going to school with all of them and hanging out. Doesn't sound particularly weird, but it's disturbing to me because it screams to a part of my soul that wants it to happen again :(

Umm... One where I'm in a building (Museum) on one of the top floors with my friend and his girlfriend sitting on the railing/ half wall thing. About 10 feet below was a thing that had a little slope and a hole in the center. My friend fell and me and his girlfriend couldn't pull him back up. He fell and hit the floor thing 10 feet below and was knocked unconscious. He rolled and fell through the hole and hit the floor, dying. Almost immediately after I had the same dream, but this time I was able to predict that he was going to fall and was able to help save him.

I've had strangely vivid dreams before. Some of them recurring.

I had one where the people I loved most were gathered around a table looking at a map of the area surrounding where I live. They seemed to be searching for me, and even though I was standing right in front of them they didn't answer me, they just kept talking about the map.

Then a black ink dot formed on the map and slowly consumed the map into black. I noticed they'd stopped talking.

I looked up in my dream and found everybody in the room with eyeless sockets filled with black ink that was dribbling out of their eyes and mouths, staring at me.

I recently have been watching a lot of Celebrity Ghost Stories - a creepy show where B-list celebs tell personal experiences which are surprisingly disturbing at times. Combine this with a recent fascination with celebrity deaths and you get the following dream:

I meet a young teenage girl in the neighborhood. We hang out at her house, conversing in a fairly plutonic fashion. It's a pretty large home and she shows me around. Her parents are out doing something, so it's just me and her. She mentions she's an actress and names a few movies she's been in. Well, we say goodbye and I go home. That night, out of curiosity, I look up her screen credits on imdb (naturally) and find that all of the movies she was in came out in the mid 90s. Then I notice the date of death. The thing is, she died in her late 20s, but she was still a teenager when I saw her. ("To her, it's still 1995," I exclaim) So I tell my parents and we drive to where her house is. When we get there and the house is old, rundown, and abandoned.

Most disturbing... hmmmm...

Okay. I remember one now. (Sucks not having dreams without medicine)

One time in a dream, I was doing stuff on my computer (I named her Sasha) and I went down to the bathroom.

When I returned to my room, my computer was gone, replaced by a girl. Of course, I'm a little freaked out as to why a girl would steal my computer. I ask her who she is and the whereabouts of my computer. She just replies, "But you named me."

Freud would have a field day with the rest of the dream.

Now, that's the most disturbing dream I have ever had. My medicine gives me disturbing dreams all the time.

Which is worse, disturbing dreams or no dreams at all?

I can't think of a disturbing dream, but I will tell of my most memorable ones.

It was this year, around May.

I was at my schools homecoming, doing what ever people do at homecomings. Then a huge thunder storm was coming over us. Lightning was everywhere, hitting all around us. Then I saw a huge flash, it was an atomic bomb going off. I see the blinding light, the deafening sound, then it all went black, I was dead.
All black, for about ten seconds I was dead, at peace. It was almost like it wasn't a dream, I really can't explain it, it's rather odd. I felt like my soul was free, and it was the best feeling I have ever had in my life.
When I woke up I wanted to go back to that feeling. I really never wanted it to end, it was amazing.

Never had a awfuly disturbing dream. I did have one where at school, these kids at my table were letting this big ass spider run around. I was just like "The fuck are you guys doing."

I jumped when I woke up.

The dream wasn't disturbing in nature, but it really shook me when I woke up. It's a little hazy but I remember being with this girl that I had liked for a really long time. She made me happy, and I made her happy. The dream was scattered moments throughout a very long relationship and I almost couldn't believe it was real (which is funny because it WASN'T). When I woke up, I was so confused and sad I almost cried. Sometimes it sucks to wake up.

Oh god.

I was living with my boyfriend on the first floor of an apartment building, in an apartment that opened onto the streets. We had a friend who wanted to hang out with me, so I agreed.

I met the guy at a restaurant, and he propositioned me. When I said no, I just wanted to hang out, he got angry. He and his friends chased me out of the restaurant and down an alley. I beat up two of them, and managed to get back to my apartment.

When I got there, the back door was jammed open, and three dogs were wandering around in my bedroom. I chased them out, but the guy caught up to me. He pulled the door loose so it would close, then threw me down on the bed.

I thought he was going to rape me, but he just pulled off my jeans and underwear, then pulled out a bottle of Pepsi and soaked me in it. When I started crying, he leaned down and whispered in my ear, "Don't you fucking dare move. I want whoever finds you to know what a whore you are." Then he left, closing the door behind him.

When I finally got my cell phone out, I used Twitter to send a call for help. A friend of mine answered, and asked where I was. When I told her where, and what had happened, she tweeted "Shane is on his way. Bringing guys there when he's not home... what a whore."

I woke up in a cold sweat as, in my dream, the door slowly opened to light from behind a shadowy figure.

Seriously, this dream freaked me the hell out. it was SO vivid.

I have some weird mental condition (i assume "shrug")that means when i run a fever because of a sickness i fall into this nightmareish realm of half asleep half awake where my subconcious bleeds into my perception of reality and i go insane for about half an hour. it isnt plesent. The most recent example of this is when it happened on the computer and my songs all ended in hellish wailing and screaming instead of its usuall ending.

For example when i was 12 a demonically possessed train arrived in my living room as far i was concerned. This might not sound scary but i shit bricks. Its like one of those dreams things where you KNOW its threatening without it actually being so. Like an unwritten rule of this strange universe invading my normal reality. It belched flames and stuff and i fucking died a little inside when it wouldnt go away.

Thats the worst its ever been. That disturbed me no end, it didnt actually DO anything but everything about it semed to unnerve and disturb me.

Most of my dreams which would be considered disturbing to other people are pretty acceptable to me. Probably because unlike other people, I know what goes through my head on a daily basis. So it's understandable when I have disturbing dreams.

Nevertheless, my most disturbing one was probably when I was engaged in combat for some weird reason, and this guy sliced a bit of my arm. But it didn't come all the way off, so I had this flapping bit of bleeding flesh on my arm. I was horrified for ages. Even more horrified than I was when I dreamed that I killed my mum with a folding chair.

And once my friend had a dream that I'd turned into a lesbian and was getting engaged to this girl who we both really hate. It made me sad that she dreamt about things like that.

I was going to see a movie with friends in an area I wasn't familiar with and to get to the theatre we had to go through this huge mall. They started running up the escalators and wouldn't slow down when I called out to them, and pretty soon I somehow got lost in a sort of maze-like corridor. I entered a small room through a door and was planning to go through the door on the opposite side, but just as my hand reached out for the handle I got the distinct feeling that someone was on the other side of the door, just waiting for me to open it. I think it was one of those locks where it unlocks when you turn the handle from the inside. Even though I wanted to get the hell out of that room I couldn't seem to move at all, so I just stayed like that until someone finally found me and got me out of there.

I know it doesn't seem that scary, but as someone who was terrified of Little Nemo's Adventures in Slumberland for an extremely long time after I first saw it as a child the possibility of what could be behind closed, locked doors waiting to be let out really freaks me out.
