Agree. Though as someone who has nearly drowned a couple of times, I would add drowning, but thats probably just specific to me.

...I'll be really fucking wierd and say: Having your eyes suck out via a syringe and then injected into either the brain or the bloodstream were I assume you would die.

Otherwise I'd say the coffin one were you buried alive.

I'm going to stick by my answer the last time this came around: GTA:SA, what you do to the foreman at the construction site in San Fierro. Rolled around in a portable toilet, which is dropped into a hole and covered with cement.

I would say being burned alive. It could just be that I've been rereading A Song of Ice and Fire, and every third guy in Stannis' camp gets burned at the stake.

Oooh, though, being flayed would be ungodly terrible.

Pretty much the only way that isn't horrific is to go to sleep and simply never wake up. Ultimately, all death is the result of the brain becoming so oxygen-starved that it can no longer function. Not much more to it.

Bullet ants, from the inside out...

Any of the above posters, but in the groinal area...Including the Panda and the Final Fantasy!

Yeah. Made me lose sympathy towards CJ for the rest of the game. Yea I know - CJ kills people on the street like they were pieces of cardboard. But doing that was just GRUESOME!

Suffocation or drowning.

That panicked realisation that you've run out of air and can't breathe anymore...its a horrible feeling. I'd hate to die like that.

If you're trapped in a house on fire, pray that you pass out from smoke.
I know this isn't much consolation, but in a house fire, in the vast majority of deaths, it's from asphyxiation caused by smoke inhalation. The oxygen goes very quickly and unless your face is literally on the floor, you're breathing smoke.

OT: Well, just look at any medieval torture method from any geographic area. Uh, one involved a massive drill forced up through your arse. Uh, bamboo execution (tied to a bottomless chair and bamboo is grown beneath you, and it grows fast, and by fast I mean a couple centimetres a day). Uh, being forcefed honey and milk, slathered with honey and tied between two boats in a marsh full of gnats/other bugs (it's the taking a shit bit that kills you). Uh, death from a thousand cuts (can't remember whether that's actually real or not...). Uh, hung-drawn-and-quartered. Uh, evisceration. Uh, not sure how bad being impaled is in comparison. Uh, there was one which involved having your head tied and slowly crushed.

That's all for now...

There is nothing more horrific than being frozen to death. You watch your skin slowly die right before your very eyes, and it will start to chip off like nothing. Its slow, its scary, and its painful. That, or being eaten alive by insects.

For me it would probably be being buried alive, I'm not claustrophobic or anything but I think it would be messed up.

Having someone encase your body (while your conscious and restrained) in a thick block of dried glue from a hot glue gun while laughing at you, while leaving your head free and using it for their amusement as they slowly fill the area around it with their bodily fluids, laughing at the thought of guessing weather you would drown or starve to death first, oh and their filming you for it because your being used for a snuff film. (that was a "dream" that lasted for only 6 hours and took me months in dream time to get out of. I was very relived that it was not real. Obviously)

Oh, maybe death by migraine. Or having someone drill holes in your skull, stick syringes in the holes and slowly smash your brain with water pressure.(your eyelids would be cut off of course, and needles stuck into the whites so you couldn't roll your eyes back into your head, forcing you to watch the camera monitor, water rinse included)

How about being boiled alive and then slipping into a drain as you dissolve off of the wall stakes and your bones, conscious. Of. Fucking. Course. Maybe get the monkey/dog head Frankenstein dude to integrate your paralyzed but still live head mounted in a historic museum ?

These are all from the wonderful world of dreams by the way, so they were hours days and months of "FUN" each and every fucking time. Hey at lest I didn't mention the ones about plants eh?

Either being tortured to death, being burned alive, or being buried alive. All agonizing ways to go I'm sure (although I can't speak from personal experience).
