On a single purchase, the $120AU (or however much) I spent on the Halo: Reach Limited Edition. On a single game however, it would have to be Oblivion. $70 on my original copy, $100 for the GOTY after my original stopped working, and about $30 on DLC. It was worth it, though.

£40 for Assassin's Creed 2.

I get most of my games off Steam's sweet, juicy sales.

I paid $70 plus tax for Streets of Rage 2 on the Sega Genesis back in 1993. As much play as that game got over the years, I would say it was worth it.

$55 multiple times. Well, it was fifty, but with five spent before on preordering. Nothing special added, though.

$70 for the MW2 Hardened Edition. Not a worthwhile purchase at all, though the art book was pretty cool.

I have bought Diablo 2 4 times now adding up to $130. No special edition or anything. Just regulars and battle chests. I have been contemplating buying the Uncharted 3 Collector's edition as my first for the statue of Drake.

$150 for Lunar and Lunar 2 for the PSX, both of them the full collector's packs. Still a good deal in my eyes.

On the game itself? Reach, 80$ for the special edition. I NEEDED Halsey's Journal.

On a game when it comes to original purchase + extras? Probably Dragon Age: Origins. I have every bit of DLC for it save for those Feastday gifts.
Same, I was disappointed by Witch Hunt though... bit of a fucking Retcon. I spent the entire time Yelling at the screen "That's not what happened!!!"
Wait, what? What retcon? It worked fine for me... I freakin' loved Witch Hunt.

Probably 80 bucks or so on a SNES game back when they retailed for that.
