arrow to the knee. i actually liked the Portal memes at first, but this isn't even humorous, it's just a line random NPCs will spout to draw attention to the fact that the upper-leg armor from Oblivion isn't in Skyrim. i barely thought it had any potential to be viewed as funny the first time i heard a Whiterun Guard say it. by the time i noticed it had reached meme status, i was already sick of it because of how frequently guards and some random civilians will spew the phrase out early on in your play-through, before you have any accomplishments for them to note, like the final contract you do for the Dark Brotherhood storyline, or the incidents caused during your time at the College of Winterhold.
