The magnescribe. It's a stupid looking pendant with a digital clock for christ knows what reason, that comes with a pen that magnetically attaches to it.

Apparently, sticking shit together with magnets is revolutionary and "patented magnetic engineering physics" is the new term for "a spring".

Anything they try to sell you on airplanes.
Have you seen the crap they're advertising?

Always gives me a good laugh though.

A device that kicks you in the balls when you turn it on. Pointless and painful.
Unless you position it to kick your friends in the balls, then it would be awesome.

I once saw a Chupa Chups lollipop rotator.
I think my misanthropy took seed on that day.
I have one. Best thing I ever bought.
Um..I'm not sure..
No..
You're dead to me.
No seriously, as a child I found it actually amusing to watch it spin. I keep it as a reminder of the simple days xD

I think my loathing stems from the fact that they market these things to people who don't know any better [children]. Like McDonalds.
Still. You have it now, so no harm done.
I had a shark-shaped lollipop holder.

Gaydar probably. If you carry one of those things around with you, you have issues.

Isn't it the same with most novelty children's toys? I mean, the people who made them are clearly raking it in and should probably be ashamed but when you were a child I'm sure you wanted some absolutely pointless items too, it's one of those lovely little aspects of childhood: being amused by the simplest of things.

Cookie for anyone who gets the reference!
Or perhaps we could make you a snake-shaped gun?

Mm..It's the 'taking candy from a baby' dilemma. Who's at fault?Replace 'baby' with parent, though.
Now that doesn't make sense.
