I personally think Aliens are, because they are essentially drones (except the queen) and it reminds me of the buggers from Ender's Game.

Plus the face-hugger would be a shitty way to go.
I never thought of it that way, but I love that book and you're right, they are very similar.

I would have to say the zombies from "I Am Legend" are pretty freaky. I mean they are as fast as normal humans if not faster and stronger; plus when you see them feeding in the dark it's just freaky!

Xenomorphs, for all of the reasons above.
That, and I don't like the idea of being killed by having a sharp tail shoved up my arse and up through my mouth, it just seems...Uncomfortable.

There's no escaping, i wanted to say Cylons, Terminators,
but Aliens are the scariest, by far.
Gotta love the Giger design, and fear it at the same time.....

Any group of aliens who can shape-shift and do so to destabilize what they feel like. Are you with your hot space wife, or are you doing Odo from DS9's cousin Slurg? Something to think about.

I meant to say Odo's cousin, not Odo, that would add a whole new level of creepy.

Definitely the Xenomorphs from Aliens. The predator would be a scary bastard as well.

Now, imagine a couple of hundreds of those, all charging towards you.
There would be a very simple solution to that problem.

I have to agree with the above that said the Aliens. The only things that creep me out more than that are spiders. And those suckers are real. 0.o

[sup] Yes, I'm afraid of spiders. No amount of rationalization will make me otherwise. Yes, it's silly. Dun care. M..M [/sup]

The spiders from unreal 2, for someone with arachnophobia like myself that was horrifying. I didn't run from them, just used excessive force like for exmample using a shotgun and the little ones that would die just from a single pistol shot.

The alien from, well, ALIEN.

They did kinda de-Alien him in Aliens, though.

The Shrike. Travels through time, manipulates time, can travel faster than light, can be everywhere at once, can modify his own density, immune to weaponry, sticks people on a giant tree of thorns to suffer for eternity (backwards in time). Piles millions (literally) of dead bodies in its underground lair and looks like a pile a knives welded together. It is seriously scary... Makes Alien seem likeable and harmless.

From Dan Simmons' Hyperion Cantos.

I find the Zerg to be pretty fucking scary.
They use claws, teeth and spines to tear their way through ships, people and buildings. I dunno about you, but i would rather take on the Borg, or even an 'alien' than see a Zergling rush tearing down my street. That, and the guardians, who the fuck would not be afraid of a giant armored, acid-spitting crab flying above you.

That, or the Videians from STV, stealing organs from you and you mates, and then implanting them in themselves, that is creepy as hell.

Xenomorphs... no contest. They are scary as shit and it makes it even worse if you go by Ridley Scott's and H.R.Gigers original ideas. You know that scene where it kills Navigator Lambert?, well apparently according to T.V Tropes, the Xenomorph was literally raping her to death with it's tail.

"Complete Monster - The titular Aliens are genetically engineered to be this. In order to be the ultimate predator to the dominant species on a planet, they absorb characteristics of their host (for example, Aliens that burst out of humans are bipedal) Thus, the first Alien an embodiment of the darkest sides of the human male psyche. Since we know that Aliens reproduce through a Queen laying eggs, the males rape human women for their own sick enjoyment as seen in the first movie. After slaughtering all men on the spacecraft, the Alien takes its time torturing Lambert and raping her to death with its bladed tail."

Source: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Film/Alien?from=Main.Alien

I don't know if that's true or not because it just cuts that scene from what I remember from the last time I saw Alien but fuck if it's true then... true horror factor.

The Yutja(Predator) doesn't get this because well it has a code of honour that means it probably wouldn't kill me or any other 'innocent'.

No. Not to say those aren't some badass traits that thing has going on, but it's too made up to be scary, while Alien is just real enough to scare the crap out of me.

Aliens. Easily the toughest things to kill and dangerous even after death (acid blood). Even if you only have facehuggers and chest-bursters around you better be on guard (no sleeping).

The Thing. Technically can take over your body without touching you (reproduces on cellular level and can send out spores).

Recently the Asari have started to disturb me due the debate surrounding the Bachelor Party Argument (in Mass Effect 2).

The Night creatures from Pitch Black

They can see in the dark, fly, have whiplike tails with sharp pointy ends, Large mouthfulls of teeth, they can fly, and the only thing that can protect you is a crazy murderer who probably will kill you if it helps him survive..... did I mention that THEY CAN FLY!!
