Seems like $50 will get me £31.83.

I would use it on a two-way bus or train ticket to some city, go watch a film with some friends and then have lunch with them at some place. I think that's how I get the most enjoyment out of that 30 quid.

You can buy 7.5KG dumbbells for 25 quid, which is near enough 50 dollars. They'll last you fucking ages and you can work every muscle group with them with the right exercises, so definitely worth it. Other than that, I think a fishing starter pack is only like 30 quid, which is good considering you can sit there for like 8 hours a day with it if you wish.

In the video game world, you can get Guild Wars and Oblivion for PC, which can potentially last you years. Fuck, I'm so tempted to buy Oblivion for PC now.
