I love to build and research computer hardware & watercooling.
I will defend AMD / ATi to anyone .... anyone
I play a mud textgame *going on 8 years* Dartmud FTW
I quote random movies - all the time *even gamers 1 & 2 Oo *
I have a serious collection of games 8000 +
I'm 30 + and collect comics (not superhero ones)
i own the lifelike guitar hero instruments (logitech)
I used to own a gameshop / gamecenter :D
I have had dreams about games Oo

!!!!I have seen every episode of classic game room and undertow + avgn on youtube !!!!
No way in hell do you have 8000+ games, i doubt there are even that many games worth having and where would you keep them?
NO, No there are not that many games worth owning.
I have a boatload of nice ones and double that in shitty ones hehe :)

I bought a 3 part house (bacement, lower and upper *bedrooms/computerroom*)
I'm rebuiling the bacement into a gameroom atm :)
I used to own a gamestore where you could trade in second hand games for gametime
and i also bought alot of games so that people could play at the store :)
Iv' been collecting games since i was 12 i'm 32 now

tip :

1 i buy boxes of games online and resell the doubles by piece (ps2,xbox,gamecube)
This works nice but costs some money

2 i browse 2hand sites and buy like a Xbox 360 slim with 28 games for 350 euros
then repost the xbox + controllers for like 220 and sell the 4-5 shooters for 100
means for 30 euros i just got 24 xbox 360 game
(this can easily be applied to ps2-3,xbox -360)
alot less to gamecube and ps1
just need to be patient and put in the time and effort

Hope any of this helped

Me and my boyfriend sexually roleplayed as the characters Tim Latimer and 'Mr Smith' from the Doctor Who episodes "Human Nature" and "Family of Blood". Still can't believe he went along with that...
I hope he portrayed Tim as an older guy, otherwise my eyebrow will raise and noy unstick for several hours. Though I have a whole new view on that episode now.
I portrayed Tim, since I'm the 'bottom' of our relationship. And yes, we did age the character up. And trust me, its changed my view on the episode too. I can never watch that book-borrowing scene the same way ever again.

Oh, I assumed since you were the Tenth Doctor for a day...you know what, lets cut that line of thought before I start drooling wincing over David Tennant.

Still, that gave me a chuckle. Thank you.
The day as the 10th Doctor was utterly unrelated to the aforementioned sexual roleplay. I was just bored that day. *shrug*

For me?

Two words:
MODDING. MINECRAFT.

I got mods up the bum for MC, ranging from the portal gun to making plastics.

Created a spreadsheet to auto-calculate monk DPS in EQ... and expanded it to include all weighted stats/skills, equipment, encumbrance (This was before they softened the encumbrance weight limits for the class. Keep >14.0wt, or fight like a wet noodle.), and multiple weapon sets for dual wielding and staves. The only piece I never got in was a proc-prediction algorythm to add proc% DPS to the mix...

Took me about two days to lay out, and the rest of the week to populate. I think I may even still have it on a CD around here, somewhere.

When I was a child I was in a focus group of Harry Potter fans for the first Harry Potter film. We had a video-conference with Chris Columbus and the producers, and it went exactly how you would expect it would, when asking a group of ultra-fans how their object of adoration should be adapted: that it should be exactly like the book in every single way.

And then it descended into mindless fan-rage at his suggestion that Harry and Hogwarts be relocated to the US...

I also tell customers when they leave I say "Keelah se'lai" and no one gets it and when the ask what I said I say it's Swedish for good bye
I may have to start saying "Bosh'tet" to customers xD
And maybe *I* will stand before you. I'm about 6'6" and weigh 300 lbs. And i will shout "I AM HUMAN!", because i'm not a giant lizard.

Being asked at an old workplace for a six digit code they can program into the security system so I can disarm it after hours and they'll know it's me. I told them 127001... then explained why I'd never forget it. I got some funny looks.
I've probably done nerdier things, I just can't remember them.

I consider myself very nerd / geeky but i didn't get this reference !
It could be a reference to the loopback address of Ethernet 127.0.0.1, but other than that I have no idea.

I compiled a custom upstream kernel for my netbook to patch out a problem with the touch screen. Compiling the whole Linux kernel on a netbook is serious business. Or at least a serious time sink.

Oh! oh! I once used dd to create an exact replica (down to the partition table and MBR) of my old HDD onto a new, much larger HDD; I didn't want to reinstall Windows and all my shit.
Bet that took ten hours . . .

Ghost coulda done it in 45 minutes or so. Just saying.

Me and my friend (A.K.A prisoner) quite litterally watched Family Guy season 2-4 - the entire thing, all in one night.

Another: Told my friends about my Zelda time-line theory. Everyone hated me for the rest of the day...
