For me, it's Command and Conquer: Red Alert. Chronoshifting Mammoth Tanks into lakes always gives me joy.

I still occasionally do a quick-run through the Donkey Kong Country games if I'm bored and lethargic on a Saturday afternoon.

At least I did before I gave my SNES to my brother.

Currently? Freespace 2 and Planescape Torment. Since the 2011 remake of Final Fantasy IV doesn't likely count.

Aside from that, it's an emulated, translated version of Shin Megami Tensei. The first one.

I have been playing Zork, but I guess that isn't too old now is it :p.

I love old games, recently I have played Sonic (1,2, and 3), Final Fantasy (1 and 2), Castlevania, Super Mario Bros (1, 2, and 3), and Mortal Kombat.

I respect thee sir. I haven't played that recently, though, so I guess it doesn't count.

Spyro the Dragon was about 2 months older than Half-Life, so I'll go with that.

Earthbound.

Which reminds me: why is there no DS port of Earthbound? Or have I simply been going to the wrong Gamestops?

I still make it a point to go back and play some of the original Super Mario Bros. on the NES, as well as Pokemon Blue on occasion. Aside from that though, I regularly replay Chrono Trigger on the SNES. That's just something I can't get away from.

The game
That is all

Ahem. I just recently bought Fallout and Fallout 2, I'm only like an hour into the first one (just got the rope to go further into Vault 15), but I'm loving it. Also, I've been trying to progress in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy game, but I fail miserably every time. It's one of the few games where using a walkthrough makes it less fun, yet at the same time less miserable.

For me that's easy, I'll play Warloards for the 2600 or the arcade any time I can, both being about 30 years old and still as fun as it's ever been.

Depending on what name you want to go by Computer War/Space War.
Arcade replica of the MIT 1962 classic, I emulate it on Mame.

And very old game that predates Atari's Pong. Actually Pong was an attempt to simply gaming controls because Computer War was considered too complicated at the time. 4 directions and 3 action buttons with the goal of not just blowing up your opponents space ship but avoid crashing into the Sun.
