What is the oldest system you still play?

Self explanatory title. I'm just curious about how old (or young) some of us are relative to each other, and a sound out of what piece of game paraphernalia you've been holding onto longest seems like a fun way to accomplish that.

My dreamcast is the oldest working system I still have, and I play Gauntlet Legends and Sonic Adventure on it from time to time. I especially like how you can use the memory card as sort of a mini hand held console.

What's yours?

I very rarely go back to old consoles, so while I'll have the occasional session on my PS2, I tend to stick with current gen.

When given the chance though I do buy older games that are re-released on newer systems.

For instance, I have all the original Mega Drive Sonic titles on my DS :D

I don't play on a console anymore. I have the original nintento, PSx, PS2, PSP, PS3 and Wii but all of them just sit there. The ps3 is used for movies only now. I had the 360 but after having 5 of them commit seppuku I got rid of that one. Now I just stick to PC games.

If I could find an Intellivision and a copy of Utopia for a decent price, that. Otherwise, I don't really play ANY old systems. The 360 is as old as it gets.

PS1 via PSN for me, if you're not counting that then PS2. What can I say, there just weren't that many good games before then and the ones that were good have been remade. Think my PS1's still around somewhere, might have given it to my cousin. I was always that guy who used his friends SNES til around the late 90s when I got my own console :p

I would say SNES, but most of the games I would play are all neatly available on the PSN.

I will (very) occasionally play on physical N64s or Gamecubes though.

I once had someone give me a Tandyvision because they found it in their garage and were planning on throwing it away. Cool stuff :)

SNES for me, followed by a Sega Saturn. I play Super Metroid and Killer Instinct on my SNES, Skeleton Warriors and Marvel Superheroes on my Saturn.

Oldest? Hmm... Probably the SNES. I find myself going back to the ol' SNES library from time to time to replay one of the classic JRPGs for that system. FF6, Earthbound, Crono trigger, now that is the stuff right there...

EDIT: Also, I play last gen and last-last gen games quite often. Still a ton of good games for those systems I do not yet own.

I've got my Mega Drive hooked up to my tv. I can swivel to the left to enjoy Sonic 1 - 3&K, Streets of Rage and other such classics. Great for stop & start entertainment whilst forum browsing or downloading.

Still trying to finish a game on there. It's one hell of a grind fest though.

The Panasonic 3DO. However I play Mega Drive, Atari and SNES games on the newer platforms.

That would be my Nintendo 64, I got it for $30 in a bookstore not too long ago. Damn good deal.

I've still got a NES hooked up to my 32" HDTV. Super Mario Brothers 3 is still awesome! That and an original Gameboy, not a pocket, not a colour, an original beige one.

Also kind of wish I still had a 286 or 386 knocking about DOS, Gorrilas.bas, EGA Trek, twin 5.25" floppies and parking your hard drives would bring back so many memories!

SNES. I occasionally play Mario All-Stars or Mario Kart with my wife, or some other cart I can't find anywhere else. Have a PS2, occasionally play something off that (although often its the Megaman Collections or Sonic Collection). PS1 plays in the PS3 and recently played my discs of FFVII (and I want to pick up a physical copy of FFIX). Gamecube plays in the Wii, so I'll play F-Zero GX or Metroid Prime.

If I go home, my parents have our old Atari, NES, and Colecovision (and SNES and N64), so I'll occasionally bust one of those out for some quick fun.

Sega Mega drive, I still sometimes go back to it for a bit of Ghouls 'n Ghosts, which is my favourite mega drive title.

It has the coolest Box art EVER

SNES - Secret of Mana mostly, and FFIII (VI), as the PS1 port is laggy as hell. I've used my gamecube in the last year or so, too, I think.

I have a computer about 10 years old that I use to play old games, too, if that counts.

Asked that a month ago and I would've told you the SNES, but that little guy died and I had to get ride of it. That was a sad day for me.

[sub][sub]C'MON! WAKE UP BUDDY! D:[/sub][/sub]

So, I just have my PS2 which is still going like a champ.
