I was going through some old things of mine and found my old sega genesis, controllers, and games, so while not expecting it to I decided to see if it worked, i plug in the cords and holy shit! it did I just spent the last hour playing the old sonic games and then some vector man reminding me of how much of those old games i have. So my question fellow escapists is, what is the prize of your gaming collection, wether because it is the most fun game or because it is the rarest.

Mine is the metroid prime trilogy for the wii, it is the only real reason i play the wii and i got one of the relatively few made

Chrono Trigger. Ah, maybe I'm old school, but it still seems like the best game ever made to me. Just slap that cartridge in and it's perfect. Only game that would upset me for a while if it were lost/destroyed.

My brand new DVD copy of Planescapes: Torment. Clunky interface yes, but the story is still fantastic.

It used to be my Planescape: Torment box but I dunno what I did with it. Also, somewhere i have Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2 which are really rare, but I can't remember where. I have a Big Sister from Bioshock 2 still in the box but that's kinda lame.

Oh yeah, I have a mostly ruined and probably unplayable copy of Rising Zan: Samurai Gunman.

Heaven help you if you watch that video, the awesome is more than you are prepared for.

Probably Twilight Princess for the Wii. It's one that I've played a lot, and I didn't think the graphics looked brown and gritty at all. The control is also a lot better than in some Zelda games I've played, as well as the story and the fact that I don't have to put up with the blue, winged puffball or the owl who NEVER SHUTS UP!!!!!!

Put simply, Twilight Princess (the Wii version) is my favourite game ever. It's a lot better than Ocarina, that's for sure. Yeah, I went there!

Pokemon Blue for the gameboy, still working save-file, I think the last thing I remember doing on it was a lot of glitches I had found out wereon there (Besides the Missingno, of course)

Of the New Generation: Trauma Center Series on the Wii and special editions of Heavy Rain and Bioshock 2 (the one with the big ass record and everything). However overall I'd say my jewels of gaming are: Twisted Metal 2 (PS1 - played that so damn much), Pokemon Stadium 2 (N64 - I love this game to this very day!)...aww hell practically anything on my N64 or SNES (with highly honorable mentions going to Super Metroid on the SNES, Legend of Zelda: Orcarina of Time on the N64 and Bomberman 2 on the SNES).

Holy Shit How could I forget: Pokemon Blue and Pokemon Jade on the Gameboy (Jade is a game I didn't know was fake until like....last year cuz I never thought about it).

Just last week I bought a Lethal Enforcers arcade machine off a friend for $300, and yesterday I finally managed to get it hooked up in my game room. Expensive? Yes. Bulky and hard to move? Very much so. Totally worth it? Oh hell yeah.

Collection of every Shin Megami Tensi game released in the US. The sad part is I have games in the collection I don't even have the consoles for, like the psp. My gaming collection might as well be sponsored by Atlus at this point.

My Half-Life Generation box, which I bought so I could play Counter-Strike with my cousin, simply because it was the step from playing random demos and freeware from the internet to really becoming a gamer.

My TES IV: Oblivion Collector's Edition would be my most prized game.

Rarest would probably be an original boxed CD-rom copy of Might & Magic: World of Xeen, while the MGS4 Limited Edition with that figurine might be the most valuable.
