Here's my question why are you only wondering about the planet behind the Illusive man changing with your paragon/renagade level? How come nobody bothered to mention the same thing occurs in the ME1 ending. ME1 ending had either: Renegade, Red planet background, Shepard with Gun or Paragon, empty handed with blue planet background. I'm pretty sure in both cases its just thrown in for artistic flair.
