I found the holy meatballs of Sweden, and out of sheer Swedish-ness, I got the power of invisibility.

Combination of coming from a strong bloodline, being well trained and being enlightened (and therby discovering the secret and dormant power of man). Wouldn't be the most powerfull source, but it would be the one I'd be most pleased with

Twisting the common phrase "The world is what you make of it" so that whatever I believe happens. The only problem is that it would apply to everyone else too so I have powers when no one knows I am using them and has no visible effect that the collective conscious would rebel against if seen by another person.

It's like how I'm invisible when other people aren't around.

I gained my superpowers by killing Bronies in incredibly elaborate ways, a la Saw.

One Summer I spent WAY too much time outside and for the whole summer had these blistering 2nd degree sun burns. I even went outside with my sunburns and the blisters got worse. Now I control fire, however I also have skin cancer and my life has become a clock, counting down to the day the cancer consumes me, but at least I control fire.

(In all seriousness I did do this, just without the fire, and wouldn't be surprised if I get cancer later in life because of my sunburn stupidity.)

I have the powers of familiarity with every firearm known to man and skill to use them. I got them by being a crazy vietnam vet.

Lab experiment gone wrong. You know how in old movie they have those big tech labs and when they struck with lighting rather then frying everything it somehow makes it work even better or how having ton of random chemicals spill on you gives you super power rather then chemical burns? Yeah kind of like that, only with more explosions.

Either exposed to entire universes' worth of spiral energy or as a gift from some supernatural entity on the verge of "death" or supernatural equivalent of death

I was bitten by a radioactive squirrel that was bitten by a radioactive mosquito who had previously bitten someone who absorbed the powers of someone infused with Super Soldier Serum who had coated his bones with Adamantium.

Yes.

I was bitten by a radioactive spider. That was also bitten by a radioactive spider.

That's twice as much spider! I'm Super Spider-Man!
That mean you were bitten by Spider-Spider?
Aha. Ha. Ha ha. Ha.
I'll go and sit in the corner and thing about what I've done now...

And then topic happened!
Given my lifestyle (slobbish layabout), I think the only way I'd ever get superpowers would be to get electronic-based powers via being sucked into cyberspace, a-la Freakazoid.

I was bitten by a radioactive Carl Sagan back in the 90s.

SAGAN MAN! I have a superhuman ability to convince criminals to give up crime and go to work in the space industry.

Since radiation seems to be the source of all supernatural powers, I'm going to say, irradiate my box and wear it.
