I started going to chat rooms and the such when some stuff was going on in my life that was pretty shitty and one of the first names I used was Drakane_Blood. Drakane being the poorly translated possessive form of dragon in the Czech language.

Dragons symbolize a ton of things from strength, power and wealth, to beauty and life, it all depends on the culture.

Blood is something we all have in us even if it is not always seen on the surface.

Drakanes blood, is saying I have all that dragons symbolize inside me waiting to be drawn to the surface.

I just normally drop the blood, especially since I played WoW and my main hunter was Drakane, so I was just known as that or Drak on vent no matter the toon i Played.

"So we keep the same instincts as our primate and pre-primate ancestors, but we superimpose culture and law on top of this. So we get split in two, dig? You might say, mankind is the statutory ape." -Mounty Babbit in The Universe Next Door, by Robert Anton Wilson

Not, in fact, from a rather unfortunate Black Dahlia Murder song by the same name.

When I was in middle school I was really into Ancient Greece and Rome and I found myself particularly fascinated by the Punic Wars and Hannibal Barca. 942 is the random number generated for my by Runescape (Played the shit out of that game back in the day) so I just combined the two together.

It's a corruption/modification of William Gibson's Neuromancer. Always been a fan of cyberpunk in general and Gibson specifically.

Frankly I liked the Wintermute half of the AI better in the novel but I didn't want to lift the name directly and "Wintermute" didn't modify into anything I liked. Neuromancer -> Neuromaster was a much more natural change.

I came up with the name when I was twelve and signing up for Runescape. Man that was 8 years ago. Name stuck.
6 for my signup name. That one's held too, and I make a character based off Endon (Endon40 was my RS Username) in every RPG I play, whenever possible. He's also a character in any short story I've ever written featuring anything in swords and sorcery fantasy style writing. He has an absurdly long family line, leading all the way up to one of my more recently half-finished short stories, which is set in England in the 1800's, featuring his descendant as a monster hunting, Van-Helsing type character.

As for the Escapist's user... I heard a song in Crackdown called "The Ace The Only", and decided to modify it a little. Thus, The Ace The One. I should have kept Endon... hm...

Long story short: It means green in latin (like crude or inexperienced). It was my first WoW character's name. I have used it ever since.

My dad used to write computer programs, so when I wanted a Tron sounding name, I though this was worked. It's odd sounding and it's been the punchline to a few dirty jokes, but my dad got the name from a Felix the Cat cartoon.

There was a villan named after the car part . . . go fig.

Mauso comes from my name being Liam, as in, Mausoleum.
The 88 is there because I simply think 88 looks good. It's short and easy to remember.

I've been using this screen name since the 90's, in one form or another. It was basically a tribute to one of my favorite horror movies from when I was younger, and I've never felt the need to change it. ^-^

Was, like, 11 or 12, playing Runescape. Making an account, rather. Was all like "OMG THIS WILL SOUND SO KEWL AND AWESOME".

It does not.

I dislike it now.

But it is my name, and despite how I feel about it, it is mine and I will not change any time soon.

Mine was a word my friend made up when we were 12. I use it because it is unique and I never have to put numbers on the end. Also, people seem to remember me :D
