What is the story behind you Username?

Back when I first started playing Illusion of Gaia, they introduced a character named "The Jackal" as some sort of assassin or something, but they don't show him until the very end of the game. Being young, and stupid, and bad at games, I never got that far, and was enticed by the character. And I adopted the name.

Needless to say, I wasn't impressed when you actually met the character, and I have begun using a new screen name anyways.

I now go by an alias of Dhallus, who is the villain in a work of fiction I have been writing off and on since freshman year in high school (I am now 23), He's also one of the few characters I am actually proud of creating. I won't bore you guys with the details, though.

Back in either Freshman or Sophomore year of High School, I was playing a D&D Game with the group at school, DM'ed by the principal/ primary teacher. The best character I ever made, in my opinion, was a ranger/scout build I designed and whose backstory I truly, honestly, enjoyed writing. I wrote about 10 pages of backstory on him, covering only the first seventeen years of his life (I started play with him being twenty-four or so), and I loved it all.

His name was Vincent [something] Raphel (although he may have had no middle name; I'd have to go find the actual character back-story), and I freaking loved him. Tragically, I think about three sessions in, the party made some bad choices, we ended up split into two groups (one of like four people, and one of two at-the-time KO'd characters) which quickly devolved into a group of three and a group of two when one of the players made a stupid choice and drowned in the sewers.

The party continued making choices that would turn out to be stupid beyond words, culminating in my character dropping all of his gear (sans armor) and diving into some water to save another character, before us three got onto an apparently magical submarine without realizing we had no way of making it come back this way once we had used it...

Well, once we got down to the bottom of the submarine's rope-guided course, we realized we had stumbled straight into a shrine (completely with crazy cult worshippers and FREAKING DEMONS) of a big bad guy that we were NOT supposed to run into until later. The DM said he had pre-made this huge city, and that we had had every chance of not coming this way, or of going back to regroup.. etc, etc.. and to be fair, he even gave us another, last chance, to get out of this alive. Unfortunately, with our way of escape blocked off, we got cornered in the submarine, and broke through the hatch on top of the submarine to attempt an escape... Yeah. That didn't work; it was far too long of a swim and we all drowned. But, at least the water flooded through the submarine's still open hatch and took out that god damned shrine.

Anyhow, tl;dr, I've been using this name (or some variant of it) ever since that game.

Way back when, around the time James Cameron's Avatar came to theaters, I found myself enthralled and deeply moved by the supreme cinema experience I was witnessing. Never before had I loved a movie so much than that moment, and I discarded my old persona of "RocketPocket," and became what I am today.

The "Z" stands for the first letter of my name: Zach. It just so happens to rhyme with "Na'vi," so I find it to be quite easy to remember. Not a grand tale by any means, but a solid one nonetheless.

Its also a meta joke: Its ironic that there's nothing ironic about my username to begin with, which means it also isn't ironic. Its like Schrödinger's Irony. Get it?

Created it as a bastardization of the word "Atmosphere", back in 2002.

Would have gone with just "Atmos" here, but that username is already taken.
As for Duality, well. I leave it as an exercise of interpretation as to the nature of humanity.

The combination of two cheat codes for Microsoft Games' masterpiece: Age of Mythology. "PANDORAS BOX" gave you 4 random "god powers" and "ZENOS PARADOX" gave you 4 random god powers in "The Titans" expansion. Hazy memory fused them together as I progress from my old name of "Epic Noob -ish". egtodd09 (or EGtodd09) on the other hand is my youtube account name I made when I was 9 or 10, the "eg" means "e.g." as in the acronym meaning "for example" and "todd" is obviously my name and "09" was just because they were there.
