I've passed this question the other seven times it's been asked, so I might as well say it this time.

"Grizzler" after Grizzly Bear because I resemble a big bear and all my cousins refer to me as Bear. Also, the Grizzly tank was my favorite Allied unit in Red Alert 2. So, that.

And "Borno" is my nick-name. As in, it's what my Family and friends call me, and I'm MUCH more fond of it/comfortable with it then I am of/with my actual first name.....which sucks.....and makes me sound Indian.....which I'm not.

My name is a nickname I had in high school where someone took the letters of my first and last name and switched it up. Since then they still call me that and that is that.

Many moons ago it was "Coxafloppin" which was awesome, but since that's obviously the most offensive thing anyone has ever done and it was making the baby Jesus cry, a few people reported me over it, and Mods politely asked me to change it. Thus we have a censored version.

Oh god dude....It took me a while to get myself under control to finally type something. So awesome!

Reaper was a cool character I created when I was like...9 (Am 21). And 195 is nineteenth of May. Birthday of an old friend who died in a car crash when I was about...11...12. One of the two. Been using it ever since. We played tag together, it rocked our little socks off.

It means "Black Falcon" in swedish, but it's not my first.

It started when I called myself "Blackhawk", but then I was going to register on a swedish site, and my 13-year-old-self thought that it was a good translation of my previous name that I had used in games for like a year. But it wasn't... But it stuck and now it turned out that I am very uniqe(?) in choosing that name, so no need for numbers unless I already have a login somewhere^^

I played the Shadowrun (FASA) D&D style role playing game with a group of friends for 17 years. Kanaan Brood was my primary character for the entire time. After that many years playing him it just seemed natural to use him as my internet persona.

As much as I hate to admit it, I was once a fan of professional wrestling. This happened around the time I was choosing my first username, so I named it after my favorite character. I didn't want to have to remember a bunch of names so I stuck with Iconsting and havent been known as anyone else since.

Ironically, it's a game login I made up when I was in school... it just stuck to this day.

PS: It's pronounced "bear" if anyone is wondering.

John Safran, had a t.v show which featured the Music Mole, for some reason it stuck, and I've always gone by it since.

I write fantasy novels in my free time. Here's an excerpt from an old version. The new one is way too flowery a prologue to keep anyone interested.

"The secluded isle of Aztiraln can be found at the center of enchanted sea of Ranylyn. The waves of the sea always push away, as though the island itself were a stone cast into the ocean. The unusual tides and craggy shores make it dangerous to approach save to all the most skilled seamen, but the island still has much to offer. Its single greatest expoert is the adnevaia leaf, from a tree that only grows upon Aztiraln. Known as "nature's leather," these leaves are valued worldwide for their toughness, and are often used in patching roofs or even leather armor. This is how the enchanted sea of Ranylyn became shrouded in infamy; more than one novice seaman seeking his fortunes sought to steal some of the leaves... and the merciless sea brought them to their dooms."

I felt Ranylyn to be a fitting online alias. It pushes against the force of man, much like how I struggle against bandwagons to do my own thing. It also lacks sentience and doesn't care what anyone thinks of it, and my viewpoints/opinions often see me branded a troll.

I started it on some website (can't remember which) to count how many people named Kevin would complain/talk about it.
