Heh... I got asked that same question on Formspring too. :p

I guess I'll just restate what I said there. Yureina is a username that goes back to 2008 for me, starting out as the name of my Human Holy Priestess in WoW. When that character proceeded to completely take over my interests in that game, replacing a Scarab Lord Warrior no less, I adapted as my username, since it was my primary WoW character. As time passed, and especially when I build my Goldmaking industry, the name itself began to make a reputation of its own, becoming synonymous with mass wealth, standing up against would-be tyrants, and exceeding all expectations. The humble priestess was able to run wild for over a year at the center of events until I decided to quit, largely due to the personal costs of such efforts.

I quit WoW just over a year ago, and then for good in November, but the name has stuck. You could say that, because of the past reputation I got with the name, I have a sense of pride in those past accomplishments. My keeping of the name is half "tradition" (I have a good name, why not just keep it?), and half a statement I am trying to make. It is a recognition of past deeds (most good, some not), as well as an implicit statement that I seek similar success in the future. "Rei's Story" is far from over. :3

Okee.... I'll stop now. >_>

Mine isn't really that hard to figure out or at least it wasn't before that god-awful movie came out. I used to play the Initial-D arcade games with those data cards, and I used a Skyline. It's really not the most inventive name but by this point I've been using it for about a decade and it's what I'm used to.

Just something I filled out when making a steam account. Found it funny and I've never found a web site that it is taken in. Don't change that, the patent is pending.

I liked Final Fantasy Tactics. There was a character in it named 'Rad'. Rad was taken on some forum I was signing up on, so I added an anagram of Rad in again after it.

Was the name my brother made up for our first dog.
And it's pretty individual so I don't have to worry about annoying letters and numbers!

this thread again?

(edit: sunuva... what is it with me and links either from or to wikipedia?)

ROM date 20th November 1985, baby :p
Though the handle didn't come along til I was having to register for Yahoo Mail and needed something in a hurry when all my until-then preferred ones were already taken (I refuse to have a "username+number" address). For some reason, it stuck.

...or as my dad insists: it's "yer hat" backwards.
...or as youtube would have it, it's Egyptian. News to me. Some bugger already took the vanilla form (and didn't use it for anything!) so I had to make a variation. No numbers though.

I rolled a 20 sided dice and a 6 sided dice, each number had a designated letter except Q since you can't roll 1 like that, and this is what I got.
After a while of not knowing how to pronounce Mebjwjgy I decided to pronounce it as meb jooj gee since W is UU.

Scooby-Doo episode featuring the Ghostly Gondolier; a Gondolier warns them "Don't get lost in the fog" and then makes a kinda creepy laugh; it was the first thing that came to mind when creating my profile.

My nickname started as Miekkakuu (direct translation is Swordmoon).
Later word kuu transformed into capital Q (pronunciation of Q and Kuu are similar in finnish)
Time went on and i started to dislike Miekka and started to look new word to go before Q.

Then i found Oddworld Strangers wrath and watches many many lets plays not being able to get original xbox game back then.

Well there it was StrangerQ.
One of my favorite character and big letter Q

The first part of my name is my nickname amongst friends, Dan't. It came from an old typo when I was talking to a friend in IM and it stuck instantly. The second part came from an ad I saw on Facebook once for Shaquille O'Neal that said, I preform random acts of Shaqness. And I thought that sounded silly, so put my bio on some sites as, I preform random acts of dan'tness. And Dantness has remained my screen name.

Here is Suika, and she is an Oni. I'm just a rather large Touhou fan, and Suika is pretty much my favourite character in Touhou for her talents of blackmailing her way into heaven drunk, among other incredible feats. While drunk.

Though OniSuika is more recent, and until then I used f2darkness, evident in some of my older accounts. It got shortened from fade_2_darkness for being a pain to type, that being from one of the final boss quotes from Kingdom Hearts. I stopped using it when I realised it made me sound like I shop at Hot Topic.

I was forced to think up a Email address for a computer studies class when I was young so I just picked one and it stuck.

Plank_man180

It's cos I've got wood...

...LOL!

Nah, in secondary school I used to say "Plank!" a lot for some strange reason so I got the nickname Plank man.

The 180 part is from Steam already having "Plank_man" as a registered name so it suggested "Plank_man180". Thought it had a nice ring to it. The numbers "180" on the other hand have no significance to me at all.
