What is the wierdest reason somebody has hated you for?

So my fellow Escapists, I've just learned that one of my former bros hates me. After doing some minor detective work (asking mutual friends), I found out that he hates me because I have a better chance than him with a girl he likes. "Wait," I hear you say, "that isn't wierd at all". Well, I don't even like this girl. I've spoke to her the odd few times, but I have no interest in her. He hates me out of pure paranoia.

Anyway, what is the strangest/wierdest reason somebody has hated you for? (Search bar approved)

I don't know if anyone hates me... if they do I am unaware of it.

That being said, if anyone hated me it would be out of jealously of my good looks and charms ;D Or my modesty.

I found out that someone I thought I was cool with doesn't like me because I'm too direct and blunt in my speech. I say what's on my mind and I have no shame in my opinions. I'm not rude about it, but I don't dress it up or skirt around the issue. For this reason she can't stand me, and I had to find this out from her husband because she wouldn't have ever said this to me directly :|

Turns out, someone hates me because I have short hair. This confuses me to no end.

In England, I get that for having long hair. Chavs will hurl abuse at you if your hair is not essentially bald, for being a 'dirty swed'. Ahh, the uneducated are hilarious.

He didn't say it specifically to me, but one of the guys at my school walked past me, talking to one of his friends, and saying "I don't respect people who have pony tails"

(I have a pony tail. Yes, I'm a dude.)

Lots of other people hate me because I get better grades than them.
What am I gonna say? "Oh, I'm sorry, here let me ruin the rest of my life by failing all my classes so that you can feel superior to me."

Let's see, one of the people I know hates me because I have a girlfriend, that I pass my classes, and that I actually save some of my money rather than spend it all, that I don't listen to rap, and that I actually seem to be a half-way decent person.

I really, really, REALLY want to contribute to this thread because it is awesome and needs more posts but I actually can't think of anything :'-(. Mainly because I wouldn't say anyone hates me (hate is such a strong word) and I have never had anyone say that they have hated me before...[sup]or perhaps everyone I know hates me and they're just not telling me.[/sup]
