Conflict: Denied Ops.

I played for a whopping 3 minutes. (1.5 of which were turning on the Xbox 360 and waiting for the game to load.)

No matter how bad a game is, I usually at least try to beat 1 level, quest, mission etc, before I stop, just to give it a more than fair chance to show me why it's fun. However, this game disgusted me with how boring and crappy it was, so badly, that I just had to stop almost immediately.

Now keep in mind that I have only played a few games, maybe half a dozen before many of you spontaneously combust, but I think Halo 3 was the worst. It was such a letdown going from H2 to H3, so disappointing.

Hmm seems to be some hate toward Uncharted. It was no gears of war but i thought it was great.

And it would have to be (i cant even believe i got this) SEGA superstars tennis. I only bought it as a joke. It was sorta fun.... for a few minutes. But then its crappiness shone through. It was the easiest thing ever made, with vertually no challenge. I could easily not let the opponent get a single point. Honestly, ever get this, and your eye balls will fall from your skull.

People saying Mass Effect or GTA IV obviously have a brain hemorrhage. If one of those two were your answer, download the two worlds demo.

I love how attached some people are to the idea of standing out from the masses. Yeah, GTA4 is the worst game evar guys okay

cool team go
To be fair, no ones saying it's crap per se, just the worst on the current gen. It just shows the new gen of consoles up for what it is at the moment, all spit and polish and dull gameplay.
They basically just gave us a game we'd already played just with better graphics and mechanics.
While I quite enjoyed the driving once I got the hang of it the game was absolute dross.

I was pretty disappointed in Assassin's Creed. The sometimes-gorgeous animations was sullied by constant clipping. I kept waiting for it to get interesting but it stayed dull and monotonous. And that meta-storyline about being from the future? Bleh.

Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom. Here are the instructions:

1. Press analogue stick forward to move.
2. Press 'X' repeatedly.
3. Beat the game.

It shouldn't even be allowed to name itself Kingdom Under Fire.
PREACH IT BROTHA'!

I'm still getting it though, I want to know the back story on the Enclabossa.

(KuF : II comes out in '09 though!)
You know there's hardly any story in there that holds up. In fact, there's absolutely no link between the actual game and the story.

You enter a dreamworld to get one, maybe two characters to give you a bit of story. Then they tell you what to do. Coincidentally everything you need to do has to do with walking through the linear levels, which are all arranged in the same way (areas range from day to night in the world, with exception of the caves, they range from outer cave to inner cave). All you have to do is walk through the levels killing what you had to kill to progress the 'story'. Even if you needed a certain item the only way to get it is to get it off an enemy who drops it.

The worlds you go through have absolutely no significance to any part of the story. I was very disappointed about how they decided to separate the actual gameplay and story, especially because the story had great potential in my eyes.
Another reason for my disappointment in the story was the often complete indifference of the characters you could control. All they do during the cutscenes is just stand there expressionless. No expression whatsoever, even if they're supposed to be coming off as furious or sad, you see nothing.

So if you're only interested in what happened after Encablossa sucked up the world and all, I suggest you read it on the net while listening to a nice KUF-like soundtrack. It's just as good.

I didn't care for GTA IV THAT much but seriously i played two worlds. I was stupid enough to buy that game, i stopped after about 10 minutes and cried myself to sleep in the corner of the room..

Escape From Bug Island on the Wii. I would have said Left 4 Dead on the PC cause it tends to crash every twenty minutes but I hated EFBI a little more.

I really liked GTA. It had one thing that Left 4 Dead didn't...a story. The gameplay was fine but I started to get bored with it. Fighting wave after wave of zombies that all run right into my shotgun got kind of old after a while. Plus the four campaigns are basically identical. Environment doesn't really make a difference in that game when all you're fighting is horde after horde of zombies that come from any direction.
I felt they missed a mark by having four horror movie stereotype characters and not playing off of that in cutscenes or anything. Except in the opening one which I really liked.
I got bored with the enemy types within the first campaign. "Oh boy, it's a hunter. I better shoot it. There's not much else I can do with it after all."
If it had been Half Life 2 with even more zombies and a stereotypical zombie story, something with a crazy general, preferably one written by Robert Rodriguez, then we could be looking at my favorite game of the year. But sadly it missed that mark and kept me from liking the characters.
I thought it was rather mindless. Which fits if you think about it. Okay, that's my explanation.
Sweet avatar by the way.

Next gen could include Xbox360, PS3, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, or PSP.

I think the worse game I've played on a NGEN console is Red Steel for the Wii. Ugh... it sucked! :(
Next-Gen? I thought that the Ps3, X360 and Wii were the current-gen.
Oh well, the worst game I've played this gen is probably Uncharted. It is teh baaad! Give me Jak 4.
I've heard that uncharted was bad from plenty of people, but never why. please enlighten.

I will agree though, the really need to make/finish Jak 4.
I tell you why I think Uncharted is horrible (at least for me)

The story is nothing new and interesting, the dialogue is terrible, the characters are unlikeable and there was too much action (a bad thing for me in this particular game because it gets very boring after a while).

The story is honestly the reason i like the game. It's so horribly clichéd that it made me laugh through the good majority of it. I liked drake, but I guess I'm weird. I also like the direct to action stuff; I found it kept the game moving at a brisk pace even when the story felt like dragging. I will say that the 'puzzles' were patronizingly easy.
