Swashbucklers was pretty terrible.
But the game that takes the cake: Super Trucks Racing.

Juiced 2 I think was pretty bad. There were many games but this is the only one I can think of at the moment.

but in terms of actual physical disc game then its probably Ass of Ass Creed 2, it should be called "Run to a marker on your map to see a new cutscene creed"
If Assassin's Creed 2 is the worst game you've ever played, you've got it going pretty damn well.
I really didn't get on with it, its too easy and all you do is go to a map marker then get told to go somewhere else by holding two buttons to get to the objective and press square.

As a next gen experience I was underwhelmed by it, and I enjoyed Def Jam Icon and Timeshift.

Take the assassination during the carnival, I thought I would have to time my attack according to the fireworks, I replayed it several times and found that all you do is shoot and the game takes care of the fireworks, no skill is involved.

The most broken game would be Sonic '06, but the game I hated the most was Too Human just because it had really good ideas but still failed miserably.

Beyblade for the PS1. You pretty much have no control over the things.

Worst game I ever played? I usually assure theres some quality to a game before I invest $60. Friends, multiple reviewers, forums, etc.

Its a tie, between JumpDuck (look it up, fellow Xboxers) and Oblivion. Terrible, terrible game in my opinion.

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde for the NES.

To be fair, I didn't actually pay for it; I knew a guy who downloaded roms of everything the Angry Videogame Nerd reviewed, just to say he'd played them. This one was by far the worst. It is literally impossible to get past the first screen, because you die completely at random, and the only thing you can do about the enemies is dodge them, because the attack button doesn't actually do any damage.

Probably Assassins Creed 1. To be fair to the game, my computer was not capabale of running it well and using the arrow keys for movement and other things was diabolical. I am thinking of getting it for my 360 though.

Another would also be X3:Reunion. The game looks awesome, but it's so damn complicated. I just don't have the attention span or determination to put the time into it.

Two Worlds. I was jonesing for some Elder-Scrolls-style epic roaming. I can't remember now what cheesed me off so bad about it. I just remember feeling very embarrassed for the game.
Two Worlds had some of the worst voice acting and stupid AI. One time I accidentally attempted a lockpick by pressing on the wrong button. The next thing I knew, all the villiagers were running around in terror yelling "Ye Gods!" unconvincingly. There didn't appear to be any way to calm them down after my failed attempt to open a locked door.

Uncharted: Drakes Fortune - Although this is a great game, it had some of the worst plot holes and pointless exercises. After spending so much time opening a secret entrance known only to you and your compatriots, you enter to find your adversaries already found another way in. What is the point?

Also, you leave your companions behind to find some circumtuitous route to the next checkpoint after which you are to return and fetch your companion, only to find they are already there. This happens so often during the game I wonder why I just don't turn around and FOLLOW MY COMPANION BECAUSE THEY OBVIOUSLY KNOW WHERE THE HELL THEY ARE GOING. At times, I think the game is just f**king with me

Also, when Nathan finds the body of Sir Francis Drake, he is so distraught, he leaves his 400 year old family heirloom ring on the body. I mean, was he expecting to find his ancestor ALIVE after 400 years? What the hell?

One of them would be GTA IV on PS3, the PC version was pretty good.

But Assassin's Creed II took the cake. What a waste of time not amind money. Repetition much? Even grinding on MMORPGs is more fun.

Others would include Warhawk (just plain boring), Saints Row 2 on PS3 (again the PC version although ridiculously bugged was better), Torchlight was just the same level copy/pasted about 50 times.

And those are the ones I remember...

Gift.

Just, Gift.
It was a game for the Gameboy Color, I thought it costed fl 40,- (old Dutch currency),but it was in the time we switched to euro's. It turned out to cost 40 EURO's (fl 88,-), this in a time that most GBC games costed fl 35,- or something. I still decided to buy it and have regretted it every day since.

Gift was a little devil... thingy. It could do TWO things. Jump, and hitting things with a stick. Jumping was broken and half of the time you would miss and end up in some pit. Do this three times and it was game over.

Hitting things didn't fare much better. It took 2 or 3 hits to kill the weakest enemy. All they could do as an attack was try to walk into you. Hitting was broken too, so you died half of the time too.

The goal was to capture keys, to open doors, to capture different keys, to get to the boss of the level. I never got beyond the second level.

tl;dr Gift is the worst game I have ever played.

Thanks for letting me vent =), I really needed it.

Over G Fighters, the first game I bought for my 360. Painfull does not even cover it - that game came so close to making me abandon my Xbox in favour of the upcoming PS3.

i do extensive research before buying/playing a game, but Heroes V and GTA IV is pretty much as bad as it gets...
Really, REALLY the worst game you've ever played is GTA IV? Do you live in the land of dreams, powered by acid?
No, i jsut listen to trusted people... When people are saying game is bad and there is no way to play it, i dont (DoW2 is good exaple here.)... I also dont pre-order games (unless it is diablo 3, which i am going to preorder ASAP)...

And yes i do live in the land of dreams, not powered by acid, but powered by mushrooms, and only on weekend, when princes is in another castle...
Fair nuff, just thought you might've happened on a worse game. Also LOVE mushroom joke :p

Dungeon Lords. Such as waste of $10 at the bargain bin. Perhaps the lesson I should learn is not to buy games from the bargain bin.
