What is The WORST thing that happened to you in a game?

One of the battles against seymour
my group was SEVERELY underlevelled, so he could basically take me out with one cast of flare.
(I liked a challenge )
However, what I didn't factor in was the incredible speed the bastard had. Every time the battle started- "flare-dead"
After repeating this for about 30 minutes, flare then death, I finally managed to cast an auto-life on my party.
Flare- people died, they ressed, except my healer. She stayed deadified.
Needless to say many harsh words were said.
I loaded up a previous save file and powerlevelled them

Getting really far in a game, without saving, then the game jams... Or saving over a really successful saved game, that stings.

While playing Call of Duty: World at War, the Blowtorch and Corkscrew mission. Whenever my friends and I play it, I'm the designated flamethrower (if only because I do it with such zeal and glee, yelling "FIRE! FIRE!" in a Beavis-ish way). We all pop smoke and I run up towards a bunker and start cutting loose. Halfway up the hill, I eat a grenade. The other two guys come to save me, and one eats another grenade, and the other two split up and both get killed by machine gun fire en route.


That as the 6th replay through that area.

In a match of CoD4 on shipment I died twice from the same airstrike, spawned infront of the opposite team twice and then spawned on a grenade

this moment was when i was playing Spelunky.

came across a golden idol, and anyone who has played knows that when picked up, a boulder drops down and chases you a bit. all in all it's easy to dodge. this time, however, i jumped over the boulder and it kept going right, i headed that way to drop down a hole, but not before a pissed off merchant came over and pumped me full of lead for the "unexpected backdoor construction" that the boulder has done. guess the game figured the boulders don't work on killing me, but merchants do. -_-

Fallout 3 on my very first play through forgot I could actually drink water for health. So I had to try and run from the museum of technology to the Washington Monument to install a dish (GNR mission for those under a rock). I died maybe ten times in a row before I remembered "oh yeah I CAN drink the water from the fountain" (no Stimpacks).

Yeah, I do drink alot, and I don't save very often. I do have alot of stimpaks but if there is water nearby, I'll try to drink it. So I had gone from lvl 9 to 15 and I hadden't saved.
I drink the water, I get to much radiation and die.
I hate radiation.
