I do live near a field in central Illinois, and i live in a partial basement apartment. it's really not a big deal, and I released it outside to said field after I took the photo. Sorry about the quality, it's hard to get my camera to focus on something inside a clear container.

For those of you who wanted a description...it is about 5 in long, a short, hairy tail, tiny black eyes, small paws, and it made the weirdest noise when my cat cornered it. It sounded like very fast, high pitched clicking. At first I thought my computer was bursting into flames, then noticed my cat had a very sudden interest in staring at the corner.
