My favorite class was in the 6th grade and the class was Axis and Allies which is exactly as it sounds, It was a class where we played Axis and Allies. I always played as the Russians and human waved until I owned all of Europe, Asia, South America, and Africa.

lol wow!

Classes that involve games are allways better!

I loved drama, I wasnt that good at it but the people were good, it was relaxing and we played games (see note above).

When uni starts im looking forward to my 'history of popular music' subject. Discussing the influence of The Who in modern music and talking about the punk scene in the 70s.. Awesome

Then theres the subject where my assingment is "Perform a 40 minute set at a local venue" =D

Used to be Drama, but that was when we had an actual teacher. Now we just have some random guy, who I think teaches maths, to just look over our lessons and give us marks. It's not much fun, even with our interpretation of Alice in Wonderland we're working on. It's basically just telling the costume designer we want mushroom outfits to dress the year sevens up in.

She doesn't like us.

My favourite subject now is probably Art. Our teacher actually trusts you to get on with some work if you bring in the coursework on time.

My Ancient History class in year 11-12 was fantastic. It was almost like English, but you just analysed one really long, really good book, and stopped looking for all that deeper meaning junk. Greece and Rome have such amazingly good stories to them. I didn't score highly in the class, but enjoyed it immensely.

It helped that the teacher was somewhat... eccentric. Old british guy, python-esque sense of humour, occasionally did things to make the class more enjoyable for everyone, except people who annoyed him. He gave lectures in some of his classes, and when some people would not shut up and listen, he'd wait until he was done, set us to do some work from Thucydides or something, wait 5-10 minutes, and then slowly and casually just mosey his way over to the girl's desk, picked up her stuff, and moved it all right to the back of the class. It was a class of only about 10-15 people, and in a classroom designed for 30, so it was waaaaay back. He didn't say a word to her, just went and sat back down. She just sat there spluttering for a few moments, and eventually realised what happened. She just gave a sigh of defeat and moved to the back for the rest of the lesson. All without him saying a word. Myself and my mate, each of whom payed attention and had similar senses of humour were trying really, really hard to not laugh at this poor girl who didn't quite realise what she was messing with.

Good times.

My favourite class is the Paladin. With the additions of Defenders of the Faith with their additional uses for Paladin Turning Attempts unlocked by new feats he becomes a stalwart defender of all that is Fascistic with the ability to severly brutalize his opponents with his +14 zweihander.
jkjk. It's the cleric

As for school classes I loved my seventh and eight(13-14 years old) grade math classes. The teacher recognized that a few of us were able to solve the problems from the corriculum with ease, and so expanded the corriculum for us. The classes became less boring since I actually had a reason to pay attention, and me and the others in this 'advanced' math class got real competitive with eachother driving us to learn more and understand more just to be better than my peers.
It was awsomest, and I loved every minute of it.

My favourite class in High School was Phys Ed. I got straight A's and I enjoyed it. No complaints. My favourite unit so far in uni has been Cyberculture studies because I absolutely kicked arse at it.

Apologies, I have no idea about US school systems (or another country, forgive my ignorance). Shouldn't you have the Summer off and start Uni in September or something?

My favorite class was my independent seminar on 5 books of my choosing. 'The Great Gatsby', 'The Lighthouse', 'For Whom the Bell Tolls', etc. Had to write a 5 page paper about each of them. I did it all over x-mas break with no supervision and ended up writing some of the best critical analysis of my career.

It basically confirmed something I'd been suspecting for a long time, that I was better off figuring something out myself rather than relying on professors. Not that I ever liked authority much to begin with.

My favorite class is math, though i'm not particularly sure why. Though it's good because most jobs with technology require good math skills and such.

On the other hand, i absolutely HATE biology and/or geology. Stuff like EROSION and DEPOSITION and even IGNEOUS ROCKS.

But i love Physics, like the force of gravity and such. And Space, i love space. I'd marry it if it wasn't just space.

But those are subjects, my favorite class is my recent one in Social Studies/History. It has the bes teacher you could imagine. You either love her or hate her, but her lectures were always a treat.

My favorite class would probably be the Computer Animation class that I took this year. The teacher is really good and I got to make 3D giant robots as part of the final project. We basically sat around the computer lab and made 3D models. It was great.

Freshman Engineering at my high school was probably the best class I've ever taken. About two days a week could be spent doing work in order to get an "A" while you could easily spend the rest of the time in a big ol' LAN party. Also, our teacher was always joking about being a pedophile so you've got the added humor of editing his pictures with the pedobear.

I usually enjoyed any art classes in high school or college (except 3D Design, I'm a 2D artist, man). Another college class I really enjoyed was Intro to Folklore - just learning about all kinds of crazy myths and stories, good stuff.
