Various:

PE because we played sport, which I liked
Music because we just messed around
Drama because it was fun and we could mess around
History because I was actually interested in history

Just to say, D+T (especially textiles), French and English absolutely sucked for me

Edit: Physics in 6th form was pretty cool-our teacher did various fun experiments involving chocolate, marshmallows, setting pencils alight and electrocuting people :D)

Mine is either History; because we have a great teacher who lets us do what we want when the work is done. Or Business Studies. Mostly because of all my A*'s in it.

Apologies, I have no idea about US school systems (or another country, forgive my ignorance). Shouldn't you have the Summer off and start Uni in September or something?
There are summer classes available for those who maybe attend part-time and want to stay on a 4-year plan, or those who failed classes and need to make up for it. There are technically three semesters in an American University year (or four quarters, depending on where you go). Most entail a Fall semester (August- December) and a Spring Semester (January-April/May). But there is a Summer semester (June-July). The classes are usually at a faster pace due to having less time. Most students opt to take a break during the summer. Hope that cleared things up. :-D

As for high school, my favorite class was definitely Drama because once you cleared Drama 2, the only people taking the classes were the ones who actually wanted to pursue theatre and were serious about their projects. My second favorite class was probably Latin- we had an awesome teacher who was fun to be around, a very small class, and well, I just love other languages to a nearly sadistic point.

In college, I had an "Imaginative Writing" course through the Arts Village Community that I live in. The teacher was a published novelist and somehow having guidelines and actual things to write (my assignments) brought out my writing ability to an extent I never thought it could reach. That's been my favorite class thus far, but it's only been a year, so we'll see. I also enjoyed my "Music in World Cultures" class despite the fact that I failed (as I did most of my spring classes)- but I failed because of personal issues and absences, not lack of knowing what was going on.

To Roo18 and the "Alice in Wonderland" bit- I directed that. So if you need help, just message me. I'm always wiling to help others with homework, lol, and Theatre's my specialty.

Science in middle school. Yes, just Science, we had a great teacher who made things fun. WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT!?

Also, funny sidenote: I clicked on this thread because I thought by 'class' it meant class like Warrior or Mage. Be more specific, damnit!

Not the only one ;)

I always loved Maths though. Yep, pure bred nerd.

Aye, with all these D&D threads springing up now I thought this was another one.
Wizard is my choice for that type of class, by the way.

Okay, Okay! I made a thread for that and clearly labeled it!

Gym - Despite having mediocre fitness, I did pretty damn good in this class (finished with a mark of 91 in Grade 12). Probably because I actually tried, unlike a lot of people. Some of the best times of my life came from Gym class. Every 2 weeks we'd do a different sport. At first I would suck, because of my lack of experience (not playing basketball for about a year leaves you a bit rusty), and then in the last few days, I would end up improving to the point where I wasn't as good as the people who were on the basketball team, but I was pretty damn good for a casual gym class game.

Philosophy - We would discuss things like ethics (Heinz dilemma, anyone) and view some insights into the human condition from philosophers like Erich Fromm. We also examined the ethics of Jesus, which I'd like to see happen in Catholic schools. My second best class in terms of marks.

Writer's Craft - Not the particular class I had itself (teacher played favourites with students, and thought I was being lazy just because I couldn't come up with long enough stories when given a subject and about 20 minutes to write a story), but the subject itself. Also in the class, we got to act out the script from GlenGarry Glen Ross, a play-turned-movie about angry, foul mouthed real estate agents, and I got the role of the guy played by Al Pacino in a scene where he goes batshit pissed and drops a couple of F-bombs at the top of his lungs. Good times.

Either Higher Philosophy or Advanced Higher English. Music was rather good too.

I was undisputed king of debating in Philosophy, often winning arguments that I had absolutely no belief in my self *smug mode off*.

Industrial Design. The teaching was non-existent, but it was nothing but an incredible learning experience; I taught myself how to use 3DS Max, from not even knowing what a polygon was. And now I can make my own animations [http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=TcQYhU0hzNY] with fancy things like surface tessellation and Ambient Occlusion. (Warning, this is what tooting my own horn looks like)

I have to give a couple of shout-outs:
My maths class for the past 2 years has been cool, since we've had this awesome maths teacher. He's funny, but he's also pretty damn nice. And good at teaching to boot (unlike half the teachers I have)
History (9&10) has been great, since in both years, I've had awesome teachers. My teacher this year has an awesome sense of humour. I was really stressed out about a test, and we were getting the results back. I tell the guys around me I'm going to fail (like I always do, and they always tell me I'll do fine). The teachers slows down behind me, and hands me a paper. It's got '9/15' on it, and, as people all around me say, my jaw dropped and I looked like I shat myself. Basically, I read the name, and then it's someone else's paper. I stand relieved, and he hands me my paper, which has got full marks. Bastard nearly caused me to have a heart attack.

It basically confirmed something I'd been suspecting for a long time, that I was better off figuring something out myself rather than relying on professors. Not that I ever liked authority much to begin with.
I hear that. I recently graduated from my community college (Dec 2007) with about a 3.51 GPA (4.0 is the highest), but I read and research a lot OUTSIDE of classes (and before I attended the college), whereas many of the young and old do it for their essays/reports/resumes/brownie points, and to nod up and down and 'agree' with many teachers' statements like their brains tore-ass out of their heads LIKE A BAT OUT OF HELL!

Rather ironic is when I exit my classes (where I'm supposed to 'learn things'), there are a group of young people (late teens to early twenties, some a little older than that) that talk about advanced computer systems, the inward/outward BS of global politics, hypocrisy in religion (among other things), and a slew of given topics. They play video games and discuss nostalgia. I've learned much more from sitting around socializing with actual, intelligent, youth (I'm in my early 20s, by the by) and having a rousing laugh or two (I may sound archaic in my speech, though I'm from the U.S.A.) about some internet mumbo-jumbo. Well-read, pleasant, and friggin' fun! And note, I still ended up with a 3.51 and an A.S. degree in General Studies.

I enjoyed Health class this year, but not for the reasons you'd think.

Since we're apparently to young to learn about our own health, they tried to teach us behavior modification. We never payed attention, and had some great laughs at how ridiculous it all was.

I have several favourites, because I enjoyed my time at school. I loved History Revolutions, but only the Russian part, plus our teacher was really into it too. Art was another one, but mostly because I goofed around heaps.

I liked Visual Communication and Design the most though, I did this in my final year and don't regret it. I aced it with my awesome comic books and website based on it.

The Scout. Boink!

School wise, i loved my 7th grade S.S class. Best teacher ever, he was funny, nice, and made history FUN!

He also created the most epic picture of Ben Franklin in the world. Im only going to say that it involves 3 hot chicks and Ben.
