I've been thing about Bristol or Cardiff, Bristol wants three A's or ABB, Cardiff wants three B'smegalomania said:Cool, you thought about where you want to go to study it? What grades do you need these days? I think my uni has just upped it to 3As because we had too many 1st years this year, I dunno what it will be like when A*s arrive...SpikeyGirl said:I hope to do Chemistry assuming I get my gradesmegalomania said:Chemistry, just finished my degree!
Economics is a quarter of my degree. I'm doing a really weird quad degree that is only offered at one British university (massive respect if anyone knows which one)Captain Picard said:If everything goes according to plan, I'll have my BS degree in Economics by the end of summer term. Is anyone else an econ major?
Bristol is good, its also just got a DTS (doctoral training school) in Organic Synthesis which ought to help it bring in some money and some good personnel. I ain't heard much about Cardiff to be honest, it used to have a good reputation a few years ago so I can't imagine its changed much. Have you been to any open days or anything yet? Bristol is a pretty nice place from what I saw, the chemistry building is new and shiny too! I've never been to Cardiff so I'm not much help there. Have you been to any open days or anything yet? I assume you have just finished year 12? How did the ASs go?SpikeyGirl said:I've been thing about Bristol or Cardiff, Bristol wants three A's or ABB, Cardiff wants three B'smegalomania said:Cool, you thought about where you want to go to study it? Good fun =D
Impressive, stats and basic calculus are of course a component of the econ program at my uni, but that sounds very hardcore.Simmo8591 said:Economics is a quarter of my degree.
