There were also Youtube Streams of the Simpsons, and South Park but it has been mostly Family Guy (and of course all the thumbnails are very "baity" if you catch my drift) and the video streams of the show themselves are clean in the sense that the content is not tampered to avoid Copyright strikes like blurring the screen or slowing the video or making it high-pitch?

I mean what happen did Fox just said fuck it and allow free youtube streaming of Family Guy since they have a ton of desposible episodes? Or is all this one big effort of youtubers to stream shows?

I don't know much about Youtube's streaming policies, but I can only imagine they haven't had chance to clamp down on things like this yet.

It's not just of Family Guy, it's streaming in general, they seem to be everywhere in the recommendations.

Yeah, I keep getting Recommendations for Streams of just town squares and town centers. Crosswalk whatever in ButtFuck Nowhere Nebraska, or Bigloins Arkansas.
Feels...I dunno, almost voyeuristic to just watch random citizens doing their daily rounds. Makes me wonder how many people are watching me on street cameras from all over the world...

Hold on, I gotta' go find my tinfoil hat and Groucho Marx glasses.

I've been getting Family Guy/South Park a lot. But also streams of puppies/kittens playing. Weird as all Hell.

Perhaps it's training for the new "Youtube Superusers" or "Heroes" who are going to be given the power to flag videos, comments, users and channels.

I mean, if you want to get lots of good exposure to the type of comments that are going to be policed, then you can't get much better than live streamed Youtube comments (especially on videos like Family Guy which touch on controversial subjects and make fun of almost every type of person).

You mean thumbnails like Lois spraying herself with a hose so her nipples poke up under her top? Yeah, I'm getting them too. Pretty annoying tbh, since I'm not a fan of Family Guy.

If I were to hazard a guess, it's probably a lot harder for Youtube to shut down streams than uploads. People are doubtless taking advantage of this loophole and will continue to do so until Youtube clamps down, whereupon they'll try something else. It's just another development in the eternal internet copyright arms race.
