What is wrong with my Minecraft?

The sounds don't want to work for some reason, like the enemies don't make their respective sounds and neither do the animals, the only sounds I really hear are the chopping(?) sounds when you break a block or something. what is going on??

try re-dowloading the client it take like 2-3 seconds

Bear in mind, it is in beta. We should be so happy that it runs as it does now.

That being said, you might have to re-install it, the sound files might have gotten chopped up in the last patch. Just make sure you save your worlds!

Whenever I played there would be a few odd artifacts, the animal sounds would seem unnaturally loud for the distance, and the music would keep dropping in and out if it played at all.

Perhaps, your computer is a tad slow?

I've noticed this happening to me when a new part of the game-world starts to load.

obviously you dont realise that all the animals in the game have trained to become ninjas.
