Hm.. well there is a Cowboy Bebop movie...

But really the best animated movie? hm hm... Last Unicorn? I mean... here i am: An old, cranky, sarcasm-and-bile filled man, and i still cry like a little schoolgirl when i am watching that. Hard to top that.

Also for some pure insane action, maybe Advent Children... (Yeah i know it's not animated, its rendered *g*)

If I had to commit to one, Toy Story 2.

A side note to the discussion, I think the anything that's not live action would be considered animated - so rendered cg, rotoscoping, etc.

I'm going with all of Miyazaki's collective works. I think he's a genius. I think his films are beautiful and have reduced me to tears on several occasions. Chief among them would be: Princess Mononoke, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, and My Neighbor Totoro which are my 3 favorite movies of all time.

I'm a Miyazaki fan through and through.
And yet no dragons in his films... oh wait, Haku.

Grace of the Fireflies. Possibly the greatest warmovie of all time and a masterpiece of animation.

UP! Probably my favorite film this year. I also liked Osmosis Jones, Treasure Planet, but Tekkon Kinkreet takes the cake, it's one of my favorite films of all time.

Pretty much all (old) Disney and Hayou Miyazaki films, in particular Beauty and the Beast, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle. Don Bluth's Thumbelina's very nostalgic for me, I love watching it.

Oooh, Studio Ghibli non-Miyazaki films, The Cat Returns, is absolutely hilarious, and Grave of the Fireflies, makes me cry everytime.

Y'know, I've never been a big fan of Toy Story, it's good but I've never liked it as much as most people seem to.

Definitely The Iron Giant, The Prince of Egypt, Spirited Away, Fantasia 2000, The Triplets of Belleville, Porco Rosso, The Incredibles, Toy Story 1 & 2, Up, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron and South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut.

Okay, I love a lot of animated movies; sue me.

Ferngully.

I watched that for the first time in a decade last night because I remembered loving it as a kid, and it's no bloody wonder I've turned out to be such a hippie, with influences like that movie :D

Since Disney lost it's touch nowadays and spending their time on High school musical, and Hannah Montana (yuck) I will go for the Pixar catalogue.

Though my real vote goes for the endless amount of Donald Duck cartoons Disney crapped out from 37-55. Ahh, I miss the time when they could make evil jokes about just about everything.

(Bolt was actually quite good)
