Morrowind
It is by far the greatest thing to ever be in the existence of yes.
Yes, better than fallout 3 and oblivion because of the shallowness of these game's plots in comparison

Fallout 2 is nigh-perfect, but Diablo II has stolen more time away from me than any other game.

Fallout 3. It may not have as many thrills and shocks per minute as a game like Modern Warfare 2, but the sheer enjoyment of the game lasts far longer than any other I've ever played. Although it is a pretty close race.

Planescape:Torment.

Somebody please tell me where I can find another RPG this bloody good. I've played everything by Interplay, Black Isle, Bethesda, and Blizzard.

Deus Ex. I already went on about that in my reply to the "Gordon Freeman, Detective" article (or whatever the title was), so I won't repeat myself here.

Baldur's Gate 2. Visually stunning for its time and still holds up quite well. Deep gameplay, intuitive controls, massive amount of actual content (none of that "open world" do-it-yourself crap), excellent plot, memorable characters, etc. etc.

I find it sad that games to this day can barely match it, much less surpass it. It says something about the games industry and it isn't something good...

Final Fantasy 10.

It has the greatest music of any game I've played, fantastic characters and the greatest story of any game, ever. It has more awesome plot twists than you can shake a blitzball at and fantastic environments and emotions that carry the whole thing through to a beautiful ending.
