It's Bleach characters Nel and Nnotria, engaged in battle, although it's clear whose winning.

It is a print by a street artist called Shepard Fairey. It is a silhouette of Andre the Giant which he uses a lot with the word OBEY underneath but this one is on a computer screen with a guy staring listlessly at it. Fitting I thought.

He's TATARI, the Night of Walachia, the physical manifestation of the legend of Dracula as embodied by an alchemist's curse, and the primary antagonist of the first couple iterations of the awesome crossover fighting game Melty Blood.
I picked him because I thought it would be something people hadn't seen before and I wanted him to represent the sort of cool, aloof persona I want to project on the internet. But reading all the pissy things that get posted about a lot of great games just makes me nerd rage, so that sort of went out the window.

OOTS Bruff!!!
That is, Bruff, from Doraleous and Associates, done in the style of Order of the Stick. For my avatar on the OOTS forums, I made The Monarch, Bruff, and William Murderface with inkscape. I went with The Monarch on the OOTS forums, then later signed up here and used Bruff.
