As pure French as wine, cheese, and surrender.

Although I'm not sure I believe that "pure" thing. My dad's side were fur trappers, and unless there are Swedes in my bloodline that nobody's talking about, my high cheekbones didn't come from Gallic stock. My narrow, squinty, almost Asian-looking eyes suggest at least a little Inuit and the cheekbones betray Micmac tribal heritage.

But since French-Canadians get REALLY touchy (at least my dad's side of the family does) when you suggest Indian heritage, I'll never know just how many bored woodsmen trapped a different kind of beaver in my family line.

Irish on both sides, but more recently on my father's, since he grew up in Ireland.
The mother's are Irish Liverpudlians from a couple of generations back.

Australian for a fair few generations, pretty much all English, Scottish, as far as we can trace. (Also, we have a few convicts to the family name as well)

I'm 100% Norwegian. Im pretty sure my ancestors at one point sailed in longboats, wielded battle axes, and plundered Northern England.

Full diddly Dutch. But it could be that I have a tiny bit of British blood in me from my mothers side of the family.

Well I have a Civilization 5 ba...

Wait...

Oh THAT background?

Quite boring actually. 50% German, about 33% Swizz, and the rest is a mix between two Native American tribes. Cherokee and Blackfoot I think.

Half Russian and Half Bulgarian, me myself I pointed out to my mom it could go beyond because Varna, my birth place, was originally a Greek settlement, plus Turkish immigrants on top of that the fact that Bulgarians are the Bulgar Turks and Slavic people. But I generally think races are stupid things that separate us, so I sometimes mess with people saying I'm from like China or Tajikistan.

No idea where my family came from, but I know neither were British. Still, we've lived here for a long time- possibly since around 1900, given how old my grandmother was- so I guess my background is Australian.
EDIT: Oh shit, 1002 posts. Aww, I was going to start a thread for my 1000. Oh well.
