The one time I've used a battlecry was on Halo 3; I was at a friend's house and we were acting a bit mad on xbox live, trying to outdo each other in randomness. After we finished up our discussion on the plural of 'Mongoose' (he thinks it's Mongeese/Mongooses, I think it's Mongi) it was my turn to act wierd, so I just yelled "POSSUMS!!!" into the microphone at the top of my voice and charged out of the base at the enemy.... and got shot about 30 times. Literally.

It became my battlecry for the rest of the match, every time I charged the enemy, every time I got a good shot, every time I chucked a grenade... we were pissing ourselves laughing but I think we got muted by everyone else.

In real life? Nobody I know understands what it means, but I'll say "Letsdothis-Lerooooy!". What? It's unique! Forget anything you know that sounds similar, there's no connection!
