What is your cutie mark?

Yup, pony thread.

For those unaware, allow me to explain what a cutie mark is. Each pony has a mark on their flank, called a cutie mark. A cutie mark is basically a visual representation of that particular pony's talent, job, or personality.

Remember, a cutie mark DOESN'T have to be strictly literal, it can be a more metaphorical representation of your talent or personality.

As for me, I always try to be a helpful guy, and I've been a gamer for pretty much as long as I can remember, so I think a fitting cutie mark for me would be a Health Potion:

As for subject itself (See that disappearing very soon under the weight of a thousand people who don't know the term "If you don't like it, don't say anything" VERY soon!), I would either go with the Mythic shield from Halo given my love of gaming, Halo in particular, or a computer with level designing stuff on given how I'll be taking a Games Design Course in September.

I beleive they are known as "brands". More commonly used in primative times to identify ownership of a horse by searing your mark into their flesh and creating a permanent scar. These days we are more sophisticated and go with ear tats.

Oh yeah, I saw something like that on the door at the Texas Land and Cattle steakhouse once, only it was for cows instead of horses.

Probably something like a stack of books, but honestly I can't think of anything to accurately represent my idea of my talent. I love to learn and I love to teach, because the preservation and dissemination of information is the highest calling in the world.

Hmmm. A lightbulb would be the standard symbol of invention, but interlocking gears might work as well. Maybe if I knew anything about electronics I could suggest something better. Cutie marks do seem to have a tendency to be pretty abstract and personal.
