I take it that by cutie mark you mean a symbol that represents who I am.
So that would make it a very ornate shield, that's so polished it can be classified as a mirror shield, with a spike coming from the middle, that's the image that would best describe who I am, good looking, resilient as a cockroach and if you mess with me you get hurt.

Probably a test tube and a petri dish, given my biochemistry major and career path.

CAPTCHA: Have an inkling

Why no, I don't have an inkling. Thanks for pointing that out.

A friend of mine actually decided to make a pony version of me (and just about everyone else in the dorm) when she found a fancy pony-maker on DeviantArt. She asked me what I wanted, not watching the show or knowing much about it, my only stipulation was that there be lab goggles on my pony ass. So my cutie mark is a pair of lab goggles, because I basically live in the lab anyway.

Either a mouse/keyboard combo, a notebook with a pen, or a guitar.

Pick one.

I don't think I have anything in my life or personality that's strong, (or worthy) enough to be summed up in basic, or even complex symbol. I might discover my cutie mark someday but for now I'ma gonna go see if the CMC are accepting new members (pony reference for anybody confused by that).

More specifically it represents your special talent. A musician might have musical notes, an apple farmer might have some apples, an owner of a quill and sofa store might have a quill and a sofa, etc.

You know, I'm actually impressed by how little trolling there's been so far. Even people who don't watch the show seem to be willing to join in good-naturedly. There may be hope for the Escapist yet.

New page, new Escapist MLP user group link:

I recommend that anyone who joins uncheck "Chat Notifications" when prompted, as group chat tends to be quite active.

Good, glad to see the attitude is finally catching on, I mean why get annoyed[footnote]EDIT: I don't actually find the pony thing annoying, but most people seem to have, so I thought that I'd just have fun with it, and maybe if people see that everyone is having fun they'd be more likely to have fun with the rest instead of hating on it, that's why I contribute to most pony threads that aren't about hating on them, besides sometimes it is entertaining to do this sort of thing, even if I don't like the show.[/footnote] by it when you can have fun with it, right?

Anyway, now that I know what it is, I'll keep what I said before, my endurance is still my most prominent talent so it still would be a shield.

Heh, if only things were so simple. I would love it if there was something like that to give people direction.

Offhand though, I can think of several things.

This one reflects on my love of debate, which I like to think I'm decent at. I enjoy the back and forth and, when the situation calls for it, explaining various faux pas made in arguments.

Suffice to say, I love to analyze things, with media being a particular favorite. I love examining the relations between people and events and how the plot reflects on what we know about the world it takes place in. And I love ripping them apart when they do something stupid, and figuring out what they were trying to pull off at the same time.

It must be a tarrot card.

I love me some fortune telling. (And Persona.)
I call shenanigans. You need at least a second card showing an arcana to define that card's meaning.
(Based off of the fortune telling statement, I felt the Hermit and the Moon to be rather apt for the situation, the former being associated with wisdom, introspection and philosophical pursuits, the latter being associated with dreams, illusions, the subconscious and creativity.)
