The difference between a Mechanic and a Technician is the ability to diagnose complex problems, both electrical and mechanical. That and around $30,000 a year.
Working on a Philosophy major. Ya, ya, everyone says its a useless major, but hey, I'll just take to collecting rocks and officially be able to sell them as Philosopher's stones.
Hopefully by May I'll have a Bachelor's degree in English. I was gonna do the whole teaching thing, highschool, but I ended up changing my mind at the last second and am now going to try and get accepted into a Masters of Fine Arts in Creativing Writing program. If I can do that and successfully graduate I can teach creative writing to college students.
I have 2. The 1st was a bachelor of arts with a split major of philosophy/psychology. The 2nd was a bachelor of visual arts and applied design, sculptur major... Now I'm a boilermaker, but it suits me.
I'm currently upgrading my welding qualifications. Becoming something of an expert. I love learning stuff.
I'm in Geography and Earth and Environmental Sciences. No real point going into the degree titles, because they don't tell you much of practical use. In reality I work with the spatial interaction between the Earth, people, and time.
Basically, I was going to be a lawyer, then looked hard at myself and realised I can't sit still for forty minutes - let alone half a day.
about two years in on getting my bachelors in construction engineering (bleh, so many of the classes are fucking awful boring and have nothing to do with what i will actually be doing)
slowly chugging along i suppose..ill start off with commercial buildings and hopefully be able to do residential eventually...legos were a lot more fun as a kid..
pre calc is fucking cake, i did a few kids homeworks that i knew in about 20 minutes and got 50 bucks out of it, get about 5 more math classes ahead of pre calc and see if you still agree with that.
Going for a BA in English, hopefully leading up to law school. May change but I'm planning to have passed Psych 1100, Sociology 1125, Philosophy 1150, Criminology 1100, PoliSci 1100, and Creative Writing 1100 as electives by the end of this semester.
Currently doing a bachelor's in scientific archaeology. Don't know where I'm taking it but I'll probably stay on and take a master's before I go get a job.
