On my laptop, just one of the pre-loaded backgrounds that come with Vista.
On my desktop PC, on the other hand, I've got a a few pictures that cycle through. I've got all "The Sacrifice" L4D comic covers, the Death Star, "Pirate Fortress 2", SW: Republic Commando screenshots, and I think that's it, but I might have more.

Naturally, each photo is enlarged to fit the whole screen, which adds to the effect actually. Its pretty terrifying at times.

Guess what game I'm looking forward too, note this isn't an official image and was released prior to Guardian being previewed.
Change it whenever I get bored and never with any pattern, could be days, weeks, months, or hours.
