Well that's not quite what I did now is it? I talked about the topic, and suggested that your OP had some showing off in. Which it did. If I said started a topic called 'What is your car?' and then claimed "The title says it all" (which you've now edited I see), and then shown a pic of my Ferrari (I don't really have a Ferrari) as my car, what sensible person wouldn't think I was showing off?
May I ask what have I edited?

"If it did, it would say 'Looooook at meeeeeeeeeee! I've got three monitors! Look at meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Oh yeah, what backgrounds do you people use?'" That is not suggested.
Yeah it is. You should trust that my grasp of the English language is far more accomplished than your own. I don't mean to put you down with that comment, and wouldn't consider it offensive in normal conversation (though, of course, you are free to be offended).

You've edited your original post. Quite a bit.

You've failed to answer my question.
Well either somebody hacked my account and changed while I was out with my dog or you are lying since I have not changed anything in the title or my post. So please tell me what I've changed. And your English is probably way better then mine but since you could have "suggested" that in a more friendly tone I can only conclude that your intent was to insult me and therefor it was a bit uncalled for.

[sub]To any mods that might happen to read this: Sorry for being a bit of a dick in this post. It's just that when a person who is already on my blacklist goes about acting rude, I can't really hold myself back.[/sub]
Your "blacklist"? Hahahahahahahahahaha. Okay then, you enjoy your probation-free life. I'll let you get back to having fun with your figurines and hypocrisy.

For any mods who might be thinking 'hmmm... he did apologise for "being a bit of a dick"', please bear in mind that a fundamental component of an apology is regret, and you can't regret an action before the fact unless you don't really regret it at all (where your hand isn't forced). I'm sure you'll notice the attempted manipulation. On the other hand, I'm not sure what you'd have to punish him for in that post, a bit of sarcasm maybe? Would be heavy-handed from my perspective, but then it's your forum!

I didn't suggest it there, I stated it plain and clear. I really didn't mean to cause offence, it's just that precise use of language is both an interest and a skill of mine, one that I cultivate on a regular basis. You didn't strike me as similarly interested and so I thought the conclusion reasonably justified. Had it been my intent to insult you, I wouldn't have compared you with myself. If you are merely worse than I am, and that is something to be insulted about, I must be pretty bad myself. That's why it isn't an insult, merely an observation.

Anyway, I'm bored of arguing with you. The solution to your backgrounds problem is to take bigger pictures and cut the edges off - it's the only way you're going to get much choice with such a huge amount of screen real-estate. Or you could generate some fractals, but that's for hobbyists imo. Best of luck.

I ment that could have suggested that I was only bragging in a more friendly tone. I do not care if somebody says if their English is better then mine since I know there should be atleast 400 million people that should have better English.

Up until this morning, I had a picture of Mad Max's Ford Falcon XB Coupe "Persuit Special" parked on an Australian dirt road. I replaced it (I am wont to change it once a month or so) with an image of the delightul Liara T'Soni.

Your "blacklist"? Hahahahahahahahahaha.
Well, it's not a corporeal list as such. It's just that when I notice a user who acts consistently rude (e.g. You), I will make a little mental note not to take that person seriously any more. I call that a blacklist. Feel free to call your version whatever you like.
Okay then, you enjoy your probation-free life. I'll let you get back to having fun with your figurines and hypocrisy.
No can do. The figurines are strictly for display purposes. There isn't much fun to be had with them.
And hypocrisy is not the kind to have fun with either. He's the kind that sticks around even though he has far outstayed his visit, and refuses to use a coaster.

For any mods who might be thinking 'hmmm... he did apologise for "being a bit of a dick"', please bear in mind that a fundamental component of an apology is regret, and you can't regret an action before the fact unless you don't really regret it at all (where your hand isn't forced).
Oh, by all means, I didn't mean to express regret over being rude towards you. What I wanted to say I was sorry for was my lack of discipline. I could not amass the willpower to keep from making snarky remarks, thus I made the forums a slightly less pleasant place to be.
I was hoping the moderators would perhaps look upon that with understanding.

Ah, that'll be my caustic British sense of humour. We call that 'taking the piss' (I don't know where you learned your English - it isn't a widespread idiom amongst non-Brits) and it's meant in a friendly but slightly critical way. I apologise for hurting your feelings, I shall endeavour to be less harsh in the future.

Mine's a Skyrim one I nicked from deviantART a few weeks ago. I would post it, but currently my web connection is being really freaking slow to the point of annoyance.

As for how often I change it... That really depends on if I stumble upon a picture I like enough to put up as a wallpaper. Some can be up for months, while others are simply a matter of days.

As of right this instant, it's a photograph of skater Chris Carmichael doing an Ollie over a tire. I have my laptop set up to cycle through the 930+ images in my Backgrounds folder, one every six hours.
