What is your dream game?

An odd mixture of Persona and Okami. Extremely similar to persona, except add some variety to the dungeons like so it's not the same wallpaper plastered down every hallway. Except you can use your persona's skills outside of combat like how in okami you have to use your paintbrush to help people but instead your persona powers. Or just stupid extras like when you join the sports team have it be optional to have a minigame practice, but at competitions you have to play it. Also have the option to skip school and do other things (like train a persona's stat or rare items or something), but if the player picks it too often it has consequences.

You know what I always thourght would be cool?

well all know how..uncanny/unatural everything is in oblivion, well I think it would be cool to have a game exactally like that, so you play it for a while then your charahcter realises that somthings not quite right, that the world isnt quite real

it could be a real mind screw of a game, or be liek the matrix where they are trying to fight off the "programmers" the people who are in charge

basically what Im saying is using the bad AI in oblivion as a plot point/twist

One... of my many dream games would be something like Bully...

Storywise, it took a year to get through... My dream game would be the length of 7 in game years, from middle school to High School... Thats probably around 500(?) story missions...

Not to mention all the hundreds of mini-games, a bigger town, a bigger school, wilder pranks, thousands of clothes, a multitude of dateable characters each with long detailed side stories...

You can also check out Dead Frontier. It is a free MMO Zombie Flash game. It isn't great but it can be kinda fun if you party up.

As for me... I don't think I'd have one. I love RTS, FPS and RPG above all others. If one game can seamlessly combine all of them, that's my game. But I can't even imagine that...

Oddly enough, me and a friend were talking about how cool it would be to have a first person game where you start out at the beginning of civilization and build up a settlement, expanding and such in real time. Then, if you have children, when your character dies, you take over control of one of your children. It could go on and on throughout time until you are in the future. You could eventually lead entire nations, gaining allies and enemies. Start wars and expand your control. The only thing we never thought of was a way for it to end (maybe if your family dies out or something).

This would actually probably be my dream game. Or a Need for Speed game that let you race around a 1:1 scale version of the US. I wanna be able to drive cross country at 200 MPH!

If a game can't get to the point in 8-12 hours than it might still be good, but it is not my dream game. My time is valuable and there are a lot of games I feel a need to play. If a game can just get to the point while still being compelling and subtle then I would be all over that like a cat on something that you don't want cat hair on.

There are lots of games that I love that would not benefit from such compression, I am simply stating what my ideal would be.

A real space MMO. One where you are driven by real motivations (ie. stay alive, make money, sex, your family, duty, honor, whatever inspires you) and then give you the options. Wanna be a captain, sure, but hope the brass likes you or display some serious skill. Make everything from smuggling guns or aid to sitting on planetary concils deciding the fates of billions, and at least a few thousand real people as well. If MMOs are gonna be seconds jobs might as well make it exiciting and in space and also allow you to chose where and how hard you work versus "I just hit level 80". Oh, and yes this would be all one galaxy, no instances. Thusly you want to mine this asterois, to bad someone already is, gonna have to fight for it or negoiate to haul some ore or something. Kinda bring the hardcore real decisions having real outcomes type of thing.
