So the question is simple, what is your favorite bottled water? For me it would have to be Fiji Water, it may be sorta pricey, but it's the damn best bottled water I've ever had.

Edit: If you're just going to say "There's such a thing as tap water hurr durr." Don't post on here. I know there's tap water, I drink that too. But I really can taste a difference between bottled waters, so I was just asking what are other people's favorite.

Oh my favorite must be the Home Brew Water, exquisite taste I tell you, if you could imagine an "I'm not retarded" taste, it's just like that.

I found a great one the other day, came from something called a "tap". I can't really see the difference between it and bottled water to be honest, but by all means keep going with your bottled water if you want that same water but with a price on it.

I feel the sudden need to post this. Not trying to be rude, just figured it was relevant. Rules out taste, and even safety/cleanliness, of bottled water over regular tap water by about halfway through the vid.
At least, it's a pretty good vid for America. Also, they do return to their own water tasting session later in the episode, it's not just that one couple. :p

So, yea. When I buy bottled water (usually only when I need a new bottle, for whatever reason), I usually just get the supermarket's generic brand bottled water. Tastes fine to me. ^_^

I live in Frisia (part of the Netherlands) where world's cleanest tap water is. Viva Frisia, so I don't see any need to drink water from a bottle.

Plain water has varied tastes? Woah, I learn something every day.
Plain water kills you if you drink too much, as there are no salts in it. (It extract salts from your cells and you'll die.)

Actually, the tap water around my area is pretty darn good. I live in Sutton, London and the water here is pretty hard because we live on a gigantic hill made of limestone. Dunno about anyone else, but hard water is sooo nice.

I come from New Zealand. We bottle out tap water and sent it to other places and they treat it like Unicorn piss. That being said bottled water is a huge thing here, I'll never understand it.

I used to drink Volvic, but now it's Kirkland Signature water, which my dad buys in bulk (and I really do mean BULK) from Costco.

My water comes from a tap, I don't really see the point of the bottled stuff.

However because of that, my favourite bottled water is Evian as it is naive spelled backwards. I have a feeling that their company CEO is maybe called Alucard or similar...

Well, yes, but you'd also have to stop eating things with salts in them, in which place you can blame the diet instead of the water.

In various places, where the water is unsafe to drink, people distill their drinking water without any ill effect.

*sigh* This thread makes me sad. Tap water for me, but if you insist I pick one than I'm going with Arrowhead. My reason? Because it doesn't taste like bottled water like the others.

this isnt a hurr durr theres tap water post.

but the best water i find is straight from the tap. like hand cupped and drinking from your hand. or straight from the fosset(spelling) i think its cause the water is like airated or something.

but i havent really tasted any differece between bottle water brands. but to be honest i dont really like the bottled water and most people i know dont. they mainly buy the bottle for the actual bottle to reuse it for a few weeks. some people dislike the bottle water that much that they consider pouring it out and getting tap water.

It is said that the water here in Portland, coming from the Bull run watershed(at least if you live on the East side of the Willamette) is some of the best in the world. Aside from fox and bear and coyote and racoon poo, it is generally toxin free and minimally filtered with chemicals and all that BUT by the time it gets through the system to your house's or apartment's aged pipes, it can be laden with lead or other harmful oobleck.

The real issue with people needing manicured water is that they either have crappy local water, or like my friends..they are so used to flavored and carbonated drinks...that drinking pure tap water is like playing pong instead of Mass Effect 2. Overall, it can save tons of your money if you have decent local water and you filter it(carbon, osmosis, pick your tissue box shoe method and run) and put it in a dolphin safe container. But is IS the nature of our monoculture beast to cater to our consumerism whims and our being enthusiastic about them.
