You mean currently on? Then I'm just gonna say My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and leave it at that.

There's not really much on at the moment. Big Bang Theory has finished its latest season in the UK. Misfits doesn't start till next month. I guess Smallville then, there isn't much to chose from at the moment.

Forgot about True Blood, that has to be my favorite at the moment.

Hmmm. Normally I'd say House, but no clue how this season's gonna work out. Previous ones were awesome. How I Met Your Mother is one of my favourite things to watch atm though, so I'll go with that for the moment :)

MLP: FiM
still kinda boogles my mind i'm watching it, but good TV is good TV i shall not question it
Thundercats
the reboot is pretty awesome so far

non cartoon?

burn notice is good and old stand by's like Myth busters, always good TV
Is there anyone that likes MLP that doesn't have a MLP avatar/signature/anything that publicly announces that they are a MLP fan?
Luna is that awesome :p more over, why dust thou question a show of fandom? its not like its just us bronies that do it, just on this page alone i spy several animes, mega man, a mario related one, a 40K one, a few actors, yet its the ponie that gets the 'irritation' >.> interesting
Funny you assume I was irritated. See, that's one thing you guys like to do too. As soon as someone mentions the show, you instantly assume he wants to bash it or say it's retarded to like it blabla.

Just saying that it looks like you guys need to let everyone know you like MLP. Nothing irritated about that, just a simple observation.
well we do get a lotta flack for it and my experience has been very mixed when the reason for the quote IS the Luna avatar, still i apologize for reading it wrong

Statistically, NCIS is the best show followed by CSI, but I doubt any1 would recommend either of them. The mentalist is more acceptable cos Liz Lemon likes it.

Hey, I love Mythbusters, but I'll be honest, I don't watch a lot of TV on the actual TV, so I wasn't aware the show was still going. As for MLP, you sound like the kind of guy who's seen an episode or two and just didn't like it, so that's alright. Some people can't get over the pink and simplicity of it. I'd disagree with your opinion, but I kinda can't, because it's an opinion, and you're totally entitled to it. I feel bad the show didn't do it for ya, bud.
Correction: I saw an episode or two of it and hated it to a degree not seen since I last listened to Pitbull. It annoyed the everloving piss out of me. The overarching plot was nothing but a damned Macguffin quest, the animation is insultingly simplistic, and the overall tone is so saccharine and sappy that watching it gave me diabetes and rotted my teeth.

And I don't want to hear anyone saying "cut it some slack, it's a kid's show." NO. When people are falling over each other to proclaim how amazing the show is and how appealing it can be to an adult audience, any passes it might have gotten for being a kid's show go out the window.
Oh, you saw the first two episodes? Can't really say I don't understand your opinion of it then.

The show gets a whole lot better as the season progresses. I felt like the show was stumbling a around a bit the first episodes, not really distinguishing itself that much from any other cartoon. There are some memorable moments to be had the first episodes though. But around episode 9-ish the show got comfortable with itself and just got better and better. And the rest of the season doesn't have any overarching plot, being "slice of life" episodes. With self-contained stories.

And the animation being simplistic? Sure I can agree that the first 2 episodes may give you that impression. Seriously, the first 2 episodes are a REALLY bad example of the show's quality.

If there is any episode I think would make you understand the love for the show a little bit more then it's the season 2 premiere. (No promises)
Part 1:
Note: It's another two-parter with an overarching plot. The plot is better this time around though.

And it has exploding chocolate milk!

And I'm not saying that you have to watch the epsiode, but if you're bored and have nothing else to do at the moment, I suggest you check it out.

Hm. My personal picks are Dexter and The Walking Dead. I'll also mention True Blood, as it *is* interesting, whenever it decides to shift its focus away from the whole Team Bill/Team Eric nonsense.

Actually, the episode I watched was the third episode; the one all the...ugh...'bronies' (that word makes me cringe) said I should watch. And I hated it. Stop trying to get me to watch it; I want nothing to do with it ever again. But of course that's not gonna happen, because the disease has spread fucking everywhere on the internet. I can't open a new tab without some ponyfan gushing about OMG PINKIEPIE IS SO RANDOM HUR HUR FLUTTERSHY IS MAI WAIFU<3<3<3<3 and so on and so forth.

Oh, and the other reason I hate it is because it's the ultimate exploitation of memetics and internet culture. Lauren Faust is one shrewd mofo, creating a cartoon that is designed to so perfectly insinuate itself into the inside joke-happy, cliquey society of the web at large. Do you people honestly think that something like Derpy Hooves was an accident? I'd be willing to bet money on the idea that that was planned from the start. And let's not forget throwaway novelties like Dr. Whooves, who's only purpose was to be seen on screen so Doctor Who fanboys/fangirls can squee and make jokes and cutsey references about it. I love Doctor Who, but I'm not gonna be swayed just because someone on the animation team likes it too.

Come to think of it...the show's actually a lot farther from subtle than I thought. This is blatant appealing to the internet culture, and you all bought it hook, line, and sinker.

Wakfu at the moment, though the hiatus that has been going on is really, REALLY killing me. Still we're hitting mid-season here, which is where the first season started going from 'good' to 'holyshitawesome'.

Raising Hope. The show is laugh out loud hilarious and if you liked My Name is Earl I can guarantee that you'll love this one.

MLP: Friendship is Magic

After that there's a few I mean to catch, but am never heartbroken to miss. Shows Like Doctor Who, Dark Matters, Adventure Time, The Daily Show, stuff like that.

Doctor Who. The last episode airs in 6 days or so. I wouldn't even call it all that good any more but it's the only current television show I'm watching. Other then Doctor Who on ABC1 at 7:30 on Saturday I don't watch TV expect the small doses of news I watch when I eat dinner. I would prefer the TV off but my mother always wants to watch the news. I'm not going to be anti social to my own family and leave the room.
