You mean currently on? Then I'm just gonna say My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and leave it at that.
well we do get a lotta flack for it and my experience has been very mixed when the reason for the quote IS the Luna avatar, still i apologize for reading it wrongsergnb said:Funny you assume I was irritated. See, that's one thing you guys like to do too. As soon as someone mentions the show, you instantly assume he wants to bash it or say it's retarded to like it blabla.Kitsuna10060 said:Luna is that awesomesergnb said:Is there anyone that likes MLP that doesn't have a MLP avatar/signature/anything that publicly announces that they are a MLP fan?Kitsuna10060 said:MLP: FiM

Thundercats
the reboot is pretty awesome so far
non cartoon?
burn notice is good and old stand by's like Myth busters, always good TVmore over, why dust thou question a show of fandom? its not like its just us bronies that do it, just on this page alone i spy several animes, mega man, a mario related one, a 40K one, a few actors, yet its the ponie that gets the 'irritation' >.> interesting
Just saying that it looks like you guys need to let everyone know you like MLP. Nothing irritated about that, just a simple observation.
Oh, you saw the first two episodes? Can't really say I don't understand your opinion of it then.Satosuke said:Correction: I saw an episode or two of it and hated it to a degree not seen since I last listened to Pitbull. It annoyed the everloving piss out of me. The overarching plot was nothing but a damned Macguffin quest, the animation is insultingly simplistic, and the overall tone is so saccharine and sappy that watching it gave me diabetes and rotted my teeth.Cavouku said:Hey, I love Mythbusters, but I'll be honest, I don't watch a lot of TV on the actual TV, so I wasn't aware the show was still going. As for MLP, you sound like the kind of guy who's seen an episode or two and just didn't like it, so that's alright. Some people can't get over the pink and simplicity of it. I'd disagree with your opinion, but I kinda can't, because it's an opinion, and you're totally entitled to it. I feel bad the show didn't do it for ya, bud.
And I don't want to hear anyone saying "cut it some slack, it's a kid's show." NO. When people are falling over each other to proclaim how amazing the show is and how appealing it can be to an adult audience, any passes it might have gotten for being a kid's show go out the window.
Actually, the episode I watched was the third episode; the one all the...ugh...'bronies' (that word makes me cringe) said I should watch. And I hated it. Stop trying to get me to watch it; I want nothing to do with it ever again. But of course that's not gonna happen, because the disease has spread fucking everywhere on the internet. I can't open a new tab without some ponyfan gushing about OMG PINKIEPIE IS SO RANDOM HUR HUR FLUTTERSHY IS MAI WAIFU<3<3<3<3 and so on and so forth.Bubble Berry said:Oh, you saw the first two episodes? The show gets a whole lot better as the season progresses. I felt like the show was stumbling a around a bit the first episodes, not really distinguishing itself that much from any other cartoon. There are some memorable moments to be had the first episodes though. But around episode 9-ish the show got comfortable with itself and just got better and better. And the rest of the season doesn't have any overarching plot, being "slice of life" episodes. With self-contained stories.
And the animation being simplistic? Sure I can agree that the first 2 episodes may give you that impression. Seriously, the first 2 episodes are a REALLY bad example of the show's quality.
If there is any episode I think would make you understand the love for the show a little bit more then it's the season 2 premiere.
And it has exploding chocolate milk!
