Defiantly Strangers Wrath, it was amazing, a simple idea taken to new levels.

I can't wait for the HD re-release, though I wish Microsoft would up it XBLA game size limit by 0.1GB , but alas, Microsoft obviously hates me and every other Strangers Wrath fan. I'll wait for it to update my copy I bought off steam, but can't play because Intel HD Graphics cards are shit for OpenGL.

I played them on PC, not console, but KOTOR and Need For Speed: Most Wanted for me.

In fact, I'm starting to feel the urge to go back and play both of them right about now...

Favorite game of last gen: Mario kart double dash. Still play it frequently, love every minute of it. Based on rough estimates, I've spent close to or upwards of 200 hours on that game.

Runners up:

NCAA football 2006 (multi platform)
Mario sunshine
Kotor
Call of duty: big red one
Battlefront series
Tony hawks pro skater 4

No dreamcast titles yet, but once I get the boot disc to play foreign games I think I'll like headhunter.
Headhunter is a sick game, really good, worth importing, I have the PAL version.

The second Ratchet and Clank game, can't remember the name now, but was amazing. Infact their were loads of great games on the PS2. Honorable mention goes to Crash Bash.

Jak and Daxter 2 & 3 (never played the first one) and the Shadowhearts series.
You are a wonderful person. I'm currently replaying the first Shadow Hearts again! Didn't like From The New World as much, though.

OT: I guess Kingdom Hearts II (I loved the first one just a little less), FFX and Dark Chronicle. Oh, Beyond Good and Evil stands proud, too. And Persona 3/4, and...this list really could go on. Let's not forget Jak 2/3, and Ratchet and Clank (except Gladiator). And Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 2/Defiance. Blood Omen 2...not so much.

I'll stop now.

I'm definitely going to have to go with metroid prime as well. The first game really felt like what a fps metroid should feel like. The music was great, the gameplay solid and tons of fun exploration. While echoes had a few new tricks and weapons, I continuously felt myself drawn back to the first. Also, the crossover from the gba game and orignial metroid was oodles of fun

Shadow of the Colossus by far. It is still the best game I have ever played, and it has been out for six years. The HD remake is the greatest thing to ever hit my PS3. Anyway Some of its music as well

Halo 1/2 for my multiplayer fixes, and the top for me

Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay.

I was a huge fan of Pitch Black, and they nailed so much of its vibe great. I even overlook that stupid scene to tie into some of the silliness of the second movie. This game kicked the crap outta that movie. I loved the remake and new game even more.

I was considering Persona 4 but you can't beat the main SMT series, namely Shin Megami Tensei Lucifer's Call.

From that gen (I've gotten some old stuff on steam)
KOTOR (got on steam about two years ago, still fun)
Halo 1 & 2 (CE was my first console game, and I've considered getting a 360 just for Anniversary edition, and 2 was just plain fun)
Star Wars: Battlefront 2 (it was battlefront 2. Need I say more?)
Wind Waker (all the reasons stated above)
Okami (just gorgeous)
(Probably unheard of gem) S.L.A.I
It's still an amazing mech combat game. The story was interesting, the combat remained easy to learn while some optional variations added new takes, the maps all had a distinct feel related to location in the world, and the customization of the mechs was amazing. I could roll out on tank treads in a Hartman (heavy) loaded to bare with upgraded machine guns, missles, and a shotgun. Or I could have a spider-legged Proton (light) that could soar from roof to roof on jump jets, with camoflauge, a powered up sword, and a laser and rifle for sniping. Does it show that I like this game?
EDIT: I can't believe I forgot Republic Commando. I love that game. *goes to reinstall it

I think Propeller Arena [http://propellerarena.gametribute.com/] gave me more hours of fun than any other game in the 6th generation.
