Mine is and will always remain Infinite Undiscovery{i know what u'r thinking but let's face it it is a Great game if u played it for at least 15 hours}a true masterpiece with many flaws at the start. But as you play it,it grows onto you and another memorable game is Viking:Battle for Asgard. But that is my opinion?

What do you think is your favorite game of all time?

"your"

Anyway... probably HL2. It's a masterpiece. Also the first single player FPS I actually liked.

Pokemon Firered

yeah i know...although i play COD's, GTA's and other great games; it are the pokemon games for the gameboy that made me love games in the first place. The remake of red, with the original most awesome 150 pokemon, is thereby my favorite game.

Final Fantasy VI. Amazing depth, beauty, and emotion conveyed in the medium of 16-bit. Classic example of substance over style. Not only is it my favorite game of all time, one that I can play again and again, it's my favorite Final Fantasy and no amount of detested FF7 fanboys could change my mind.

I'm Probably going to have to go for Jak and Dexter.
No matter how much I think about it, it will always be my first love for a game.

Halo: Combat Evolved, I will never try to make the argument that Halo:CE is the best game ever, because it isn't. That being said, it is truly my favorite for both technical and subjective reasons. First off, it is one of the best games ever made. Its firefights were amazing, the story was and still is epic, and the music was like a fine meal for my ears. It also innovated the genre like no other game before. It created the mechanics for control still used by almost every console shooter to date, it created the two weapon system, and was the first to use recharging health. It was also the first shooter I ever played and was the game that really made me a gamer, so I can't not love this game.

Probably my second fav, but you hit the nail on the head with this one. FF6 is the best by a long long way.

My absolute favourite would have to be just 3 words...

Crash...

Team...

Racing!

Aw man, you're going to make me choose just one?!

Well, I'd probably say Team Fortress 2. It's certainly my favorite multiplayer game. I love almost everything about it. The visual style, the humor, the superb gameplay and class balancing, the wildly different playstyles for each class, most of the updates, etc.

Admittedly there's been a few problems and lackluster items (Dalokohs Bar, anyone?) and there's the usual issue of douchebag players (though they're few and far between), but when all is said and done it's pure, unadulterated fun. It's one of the few games that elicits genuine laughter out of me, even if my team's losing.

I'm going to divide games into decade, because I don't think it's fair to compare a DoS game to a 2009 game. So:

1980's: Ports Of Call
1990's: The Longest Journey
2000's: TES3: Morrowind TIED with Syberia
2010's: No shining examples so far, but The Secret World may become a favorite if it's as good as it looks.
Good idea I'll do that too.
1980's Pirates!
1990's Jagged Alliance 2/System Shock 2/Planescape: Torment, all three are from 1999, what a year.
2000's Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines/S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
2010's Meh

Hmmm I would say either Guild Wars or Gotcha Force. I enjoy playing those two game a lot.
