Fish and chips!

That's what 'chip' means here, anyway.

I'm eating some right now, plenty of salt and vinegar.

I made this thread a few months ago, I can't seem to find it so I guess you are fine with making it.

I eat any, I lean towards Hot Cheetos though.

Funny in Australia we call the type from fish and chips shop chips and the ones in the packets potato chips or just chips but you can tell the difference by how the person says it, can't really explain it you just know what type they are talking about.

More OT: Fish and chip shop ones with chicken salt and dead horse/vinegar, or salt and vinegar flavoured packet chips.

Vinegar...

That's one thing I never understood about British/Irish/whatever cuisine. You people put vinegar on your fries.

In the name of all that is holy, why? D:
because it makes chips even more awesome

OT: Salt and vinegar crisps are the best ever, although they do make my fingers slippery, and I can't play bass with slippery fingers :(

Sour Cream and Onion Pringles are ace.

Also I love Smiths chips. I like crinkle-cut bbq flavour the best, and salt and vinegar.

And Thins are also great - original and salt and vinegar again are FTW.

I dislike any chip that is chicken flavoured or a derivative thereof.

If by "chips" you mean "crisps" then Doritos

If by "chips" you mean "chips/fries" then I prefer my chips with the skin still on,gives them a lovely texture

Salt and vinegar crisps. Though I also like fish and chips with salt and vinegar. Not much of a fan for tomato sauce on chips. Why salt and vinegar? For crisps, salt only is too strong but the vinegar adds flavour and takes away the bad part of the salt flavour. For fish and chips, salt and vinegar just tastes really good.

Amen to that, man. Amen to that.
Except for the vinegar.

OT: If you mean crisp, then I will vote for prawn cocktail crisps. Lovely.
