When you have maxed out your melee skill there is no better weapon than Oh Baby! I literally went through the entire game one hitting every enemy. Except for Deathclaws and The Leagate but I took care of them with my mutha fuckin sun cannon.

I'm gonna go with the old Maria, I'm sorry but I love hand guns to much and that one is my favorite.

I liked that purely for its resemblance to Dean Winchester's custom colt 1911 in Supernatural.

My favorite will always be the Mysterious Magnum. Not only for the badass riff, but it's a veritable hand cannon.

It's a tie between This Machine and All-American. Their basically the only weapons I use. Combined with the Roving Trader Outfit and Ranger Veteran Helmet, I'm a badass.

The gauss rifle, which is basically the Energy Weapons equivalent to the anti-material rifle, and also better in just about every possible way. The ammo for it is more plentiful, it weighs less than half as much, it fires faster, and it even does a little bit more damage per shot. The only real downside is that it has some bugs attached to it (shots sometimes pass through targets when fired outside of V.A.T.S., and shots do less damage for some reason when shot in V.A.T.S.). But then "awesome, but buggy" is pretty much the story of New Vegas, isn't it?

Vanilla: Gobi Scout rifle+ All-American+ Dinner Bell , all ranges covered (with weapon mod expansion you can mod the Gobi, with a silencer+larger clip it's a beast)

Modded: all the Nordic weapons, i usually go with El Commandante (pistol),Nyx (Shotgun),Desert Rifle (AS Rifle) and Selenaire (sniper) they're just so awesome i can't use the regular weapons when i get my hands on these...
