My personal favorite is Crawleon, as it's the only bug pokemon I've ever liked.

Darkrai then Dark Pulses the shit out of Mewtwo.
Mewtwo got completely nuked.
Tho I guess it doesn't count because Arceus is essentially a cheat pokemon.

Yeah, I luvs them. I caught a magikarp and called him Mr. Fish, had him follow me around for ages, slowly and painfully training him until lvl 20 and BAM! Gyrados. His attack stat jumped from 17 to FUCKING 57. At level 20 and only having passed the first two gyms I was pretty happy XD.
Also, Faraligatr can learn Crunch, Thrash, Ice Fang and Hydro Pump, what's not to love? It's the perfect dragon and ghost slayer.
