Any ballistic weapon in Firefly - I just want to know what it is in a sawn-off shotgun from that universe that goes 'bwwwwwup' every time the damn thing's cocked (and of course every other gun, heh).

It could all just be a trick to make you think that it's actually a sci-fi gun when in fact they got the prop from the Western store...

Peter's ability to absorb the abilities of others in Heroes is pretty damn cool (sorry for the spoiler, I'm just going to assume everybody who watches Heroes is past S1 episode 5 >.>). Of course, you'd need to have other people with abilities for it to be of any use.

If that counts as 'technology', anyway.

Simple user interfaces. mmm... so minimalist... so good...

Pretty much anything from the Star Trek, Doctor Who, MechWarrior, Metroid, or Half-Life universes. Especially a tricorder. Gad, is there ANYTHING those things can't do?

Holodeck. What I wouldn't do with one of those (so long as it doesn't go on the fritz, like it does in EVERY episode of Star Trek it is in).

Most definitely agreed. Not much that's cooler than a living, time travelling police box.
Not just any old time traveling police box, but one that is bigger on the inside than the outside!
