One smell that always brings back memories is the smell of a magazine. It reminds me of when I was a kid and there were these childrens magazines at school you could subscribe to in order to receive one every friday afternoon. I remember thoroughly enjoying these magazines and for some reason the smell of the paper always stuck with me.
Another one is the smell of a vacant house. Bare walls and floors always have this peculiar smell. Maybe its dried up wallpaper paste. It makes me want to start fixing things.

New book smell. Ya know, when you first open a new paperback and flick through the pages and that crisp, just-off-the-presses smell wafts up.
